All three of theseCastlevaniagames earned widespread critical acclaim at the time of their original releases and stand tall as some of the highest-rated DS games ever made,Dawn of Sorrowespecially. Being able to relive these classic titles on modern platforms is awesome for longtimeCastlevaniafans, with the collection set to launch on Switch later today. The collection will also be available for Xbox and PlayStation.
What Comes in Castlevania Dominus Collection?
SomeCastlevaniafans may be confused about how these games can be ported to modern platforms since they wereoriginally released for the DSand took advantage of that handheld’s unique features, like its touchscreen and dual-screen functionality.Castlevania Dominus Collectionwill let players input touch commands with their controller using a cursor on the screen, and they will also be able to customize the layout of the screen to accommodate for the information that was once displayed on the second screen, like the map. Other new features include the ability to rewind, quick saves, and a gallery featuring never-before-seen concept art.
Getting access to these beloved Nintendo DS games would be plenty for fans to get excited aboutCastlevania Dominus Collection, but the package brings even more to the table.Haunted Castle, the firstCastlevaniaarcade game, is also included in the collection.
