Console players who have played older versions of7 Days To Diewill have noticed a big change surrounding how obtaining water works. No longer can players save up empty jars for their water needs. This change may seem negative at first, but getting water in large quantities is pretty easy.
Now, players will need to build Dew Collectors and have them stationed out in the open to collect water over time. While the player will still need to boil the water at a campfire to purify it, there is something else that can help make the purification process much easier; a Water Filter.
How To Get A Water Filter in 7 Days To Die
There are two main ways that players can get their hands on a Water Filter. The first is bypurchasing it from the trader.It is a very expensive item, especially early on. you’re able to expect to pay upwards of 7000 Dukes for a Water Filter. That said, there are ways to make it cheaper. You caninvest in the perkBetter Barter for a reduced price. There are also some consumables and armor pieces that reduce trader prices.
The other way of getting a Water Filter is as a mission reward. While there’s no guarantee of you being awarded one, there is a chance that the trader will offer you one for completing a mission for them. But, even if the trader doesn’t award you a Water Filter, you will still receive some Dukes for completing missions which you’re able to save up to purchase a Water Filter.
Crafting A Dew Collector in 7 Days To Die
Unlike previous PC versions of7 Days To Die,players don’t require a Water Filter to construct a Dew Collector. However, you’re able to add a Water Filter to a Dew Collector as a mod. This will make the Dew Collector generate normal water instead of murky water.
To craft a Dew Collector, you’ll need to read a couple of Forge Ahead Magazines.You will also need 100 Scrap Polymers, 4 Short Iron Pipes, and 4 Duct Tape. The polymers can be obtained by breaking down things like tires and shopping carts. Players can get Short Iron Pipes for breaking down things like vehicles with a wrench, or by finding them in containers. Duct Tape can be crafted with glue and cloth, or it can be found in loot containers. Also, most of these items can be purchased from a traderif the player is really strugglingto find them.
