After you unlock the Iron River region inOnce Human, you’ll most likely end up exploring Highland. Highland is a ruined suburban area with remnants of its pre-apocalyptic life with houses, streets, and shopping centers, now overrun by Vultures. These hostile creatures pose a significant threat to anyone who dares to explore this area.
Despite the dangers, Highland offersvaluable loot hiddenin different crates within the ruins. You can find Weapon, Gear, and Mystical Crates scattered across the ruined buildings. Since Highland can be quite tricky to navigate, this guide can help you find all the crates in this area and maximize your loot gain.
Highland Rift Anchor Location
Like mostareas inOnce Human, Highland has its own Rift Anchor. You should try activating the Rift Anchor before you start hunting for the crates. The Highland Rift Anchor can be foundnear a children’s playground at the coordinates (4951, -4555).Be careful though, as Rift Anchors are often guarded by stronger enemies.
All Mystical Crates in Highland
There is only one Mystical Crate in the Highland settlement. It can be foundon top of a building, next to the air conditioning vents.you may use the stairs in the alley of the superstore to climb to the second-floor balcony. Then, grab onto the ledge to get to the rooftop and find the Mystical Crate.

Possible Drops
Weapon Crate #1
You can find a Weapon crate inside thePanorama GroceryStoreat coordinates (4898, -4474). The crate will be hidden at the back of the superstore. Before entering the store, ensure to clear out any enemies lurking nearby.
Weapon Crate #2
There’s another Weapon Crate tucked away inside a house in theHighland Residential Zone, south of the town square. The crate will be hidden in a child’s bedroom on the second floor.

You can also find aMorphic Crateclose to the intersection leading to theHighland Residential Zone. It is hidden in the grassy plain, near the rocky edge at coordinates(5001, -4659).
All Gear Crates in Highland
There’sonly one Gear Cratein Highland, and it is by far the hardest one to get. This crate is located on the rooftop of a building with no doors. You can find a ladder leading up to this rooftop on the far left side of the supermarket. Climb the ladder, jump to the rooftop, and look around to find the gear crate.
