InElden Ring’sShadow of the ErdtreeDLC, just like in the base game, Illusory Walls conceal numerous secrets and rewards for those who are sleuthy enough to find them. These hidden barriers can reveal valuable items, unlock vast new areas, and lead to thrilling discoveries.
Pinpointing their locations is no easy feat, as the game does not provide any explicit hints. Without knowing where they are, you might miss out on some incredible treasures. But don’t worry, as the guide offers detailed instructions on how to locate and break through every Illusory Wall in the DLC.
Illusory Wall in Rabbath’s Rise
For this Illusory Wall, fast travel to the Church District Highroad,located above the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. Once there, head inside Rabbath’s Rise to your east. Take the left turn and go up the staircase. You will see two massive crystals to your southwest. Strike the wall between them to reveal the Illusory Wall, uncovering a balcony.
Striking the rocks on the balcony will unlock a sealed Spirit Spring outside the structure, which you can use to reach the top of the tower. There’s also aneat weapon at the top.

First Illusory Wall in Shadow Keep
The first Shadow Keep Illusory Wall can be reached by fast traveling to the Main Gate Plaza Site of Grace, which you unlock afterdefeating the Golden Hippopotamus. Once there, take the right door and head up the stairs before taking the first right turn. Continue straight and go down the ladder on your left.
At the bottom, go through the waterfall to your left, and you will see another ladder in front of you. Use it to descend further, then enter the next room with a painting. Look at the wall to your southwest, between two lit torches. That’s the first Illusory Wall — strike it to make it disappear. The newly uncovered path leads to the Castle Watering Hole Site of Grace
Second Illusory Wall in Shadow Keep
To reach the second Shadow Keep Illusory Wall, start at the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace. From there, take the path to your left and go through the room. A lift will be in front of you; use it to descend.
After descending, take the first right and continue straight until the end, then turn left. You will see two paths in front of you: a small path leading to a wall on the left and a staircase on the right. Take the path to the left and strike the wall to reveal the Illusory Wall. The Manse Hall contains two Illusory Walls. First,reach the structure via the Abyssal Woods. Once you have activated the Manse Hall Site of Grace, look to your left and you will notice a giant painting. This is an Illusory Wall; strike it to uncover a new path.
Second Illusory Wall in Manse Hall
Go through the new path and take a right at the end, which will lead you to a hall. Take the first left and look for a lever in the southwest corner of the room. Interact with it and go up the ladder located on the northeastern side of the room. Once up, head west and go up another ladder to your right.
Carefully navigate the wooden floor to reach the end. The Midra’s Library Site of Grace will be in the next room. Interact with it and then reach the balcony before taking a right turn. Descend down the ladder and head inside the first room to your east. There will be a giant painting to your south. Once again, strike the wall to reveal a new path.
Illusory Wall in Ancient Ruins of Rauh
Fast travel to the Viaduct Minor Tower, located in the northwest corner of the DLC map. Once there, take the right path and continue straight until you see two lit braziers on your right. Head straight through them and take a right turn. Open the massive door in front of you and go down the staircase.
You will now see three lit braziers near the wall to your northeast. Strike the wall between the left and middle braziers to reveal the Illusory Wall. Behind it, you will find a statue. Be sure to collect theAntiquity Scholar’s Cookbook [2]andBondstonefrom this location.
Illusory Wall in Lamentor’s Goal
The Illusory wall inLamentor’s Goalis a challenging one to find and can easily be missed by players. First, visit the cave structure located southwest of the map. You can reach it viaCharo’s Hidden Grave Site of Grace.
Once you are in the cave, head straight until you see a locked door. Use the path to your left and continue ahead. Go inside the second room on your right and acquire the Gaol Upper-Level Key. Head back to the locked door, open it, and descend the stairs. Continue north and then jump onto the giant footsteps to your right. Head inside the room and continue ahead until the floor breaks, dropping you below. Go north, climb up a set of stairs, and you should see a path to your right.
Head inside and there will be a door next to a lit brazier. Do not go through the door; instead, strike the wall to your south. The Illusory Wall will vanish, revealing a locked door. Your next task should be to explore the cave further to find the key to this door.
