According to the post, they used four 32x32 base plates to place and position the sets on. Johnschlemmer says that planning out the island with limited space like this made them feel like they were terraforming inAnimal Crossingall over again. In all, the layout of the town/island is very similar to what one would see in the game. The harbor with Dodo Airlines and Kapp’n sits at the front, which leads towards the town hall, homes, and Nook’s Cranny. Numerous characters from the series can be spied, too, like Isabelle,K.K. Slider, Julian, and others.

Johnschlemmer said that that was their intention, but they weren’t sure how they were going to be able to make it all fit, considering how full the current build is. Players can only get the characters featured in these sets by buying the full sets, but some just want the minifigs for collecting and displaying purposes. Players suggested that if they were available in blind bags that would make them happy, but for now, they’re largely out of luck.
