However, keen-eyed players will likely notice that there are a couple of interlopers hiding among them, though they’re just as cute as the penguins themselves. In all, the villagers include Analog, Aurora, Boomer, Chabwick, Cube, Flo, Friga, Gwen, Hopper, Iggly, Joey, Molly, Puck, Roald, Sprinkle, Tex, and Wade. Joey and Molly stand out, as they’re not penguins, but actually ducks. They look adorable, nonetheless, sitting among all the penguins.
Animal Crossingfans have been delighted to see the group ofAnimal Crossingvillagers gathered up like this in huggable plushie form. Several have expressed interest in acquiring one of their own, or have wanted to buy one for a mega-fan of one of the penguins. They’re in luck, as kyahri sells them in their shop.
Who is Analog the Penguin?
Some fans may be puzzled by the presence of one particular penguin villager in this group. Analog is very unique in that he’s anAnimal Crossingvillager that has only appeared in one game, and even in that game, he’s extremely rare. Analog was a possible villager to have in one’s town in the expanded version of the originalAnimal Crossing, calledDoubutsu no Mori e+, which was exclusive to Japan. Even then, players had to scan Analog’s e-Reader card to add the little guy to their game. Since that release, he’s beenmissing fromAnimal Crossingfor reasons unknown.
While Analog has never returned, it’s always possible that could change in the future.Whatever the nextAnimal Crossinggame does, it will have big shoes to fill to follow the massive successNew Horizonsexperienced.
