With Season 3 ofArifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongestcoming in hot, fans have been talking far and wide about power levels and who’s thestrongest character of this Isekai anime. The third part of the sword and sorcery and dark fantasy series is set to be released in Fall 2024.
In the hopes of narrowing it down to the top 10 strongest characters in the anime, this list analyzes the abilities of the protagonists in terms of magical power, combat aptitudes, physical strength, and many other factors used to create a power raking.
10Ryutarou Sakagami
A Talented Hand To Hand Combatant
A brawny and goodhearted fellow and member of the Isekai’d class, Ryutarou Sakagamimight be the weakest character mentioned here, but he is one of the strongest in the whole anime. He is not only resilient and strong, but he also filled to the brim with courage and a good friend, unlike most of the members of Hajime’s class. Ryutarou and Kouki are thick as thieves, and they rely on each other constantly, which makes them the best duo to lead the team.
In combat, Ryutarou has demonstrated superhuman strength and resilience, as well as great mana capabilities, though he mostly focuses on enhancing his physical capabilities and hand-to-hand fighting techniques. At some point, Ryutarou has developed some sort of fondness for Hajime, though he doesn’t agree with his methods, he respects his strength.
9Suzu Taniguchi
The Strongest Support Mage
Another of the summoned heroes from Japan, Suzu Taniguchi excels at using her mana capabilities to cast powerful barriers in rapid succession. Her barrier magic is so powerful that it can stop the strongest monsters from the Great Labyrynths with ease.
Later she becomes even more capable at wielding her magic, and when mastering her own intrinsic magic power, she’s even capable of harnessing even more control on the shape and deployment of the barriers. In terms of raw power, she occupies one of the lower echelons, butthe utility of her magic is unparalleled.
8Kousuke Endou
The Best Infiltrator And Scout
Kousuke Endou is a silent, timid, and aloof, which makes him naturally stealthy. He’s the perfect archetype of a Rogue, and his abilities are mainly focused on agility, speed, strenght, marksmanship and of course, subterfuge. His magic capabilities are alsoon par with some of the strongest characters, and he is able to master it to create clones and even manipulate gravity.
But perhaps his strongest attribute is swordsmanship, which he uses to deal lethal damage to his enemies at a vertiginous speed. No monster is able to be on par with his quick reflexes and acrobatic skills.
7Shizuku Yaegashi
The Swordmaster Of The Group
Shizuku is Kaori’s best friend, and jealous guardian, but she is also part of the “childhood friends” group alongside Ryoutarou and Kouki, which means they have a deeper understanding than with most of her Isekai’d classmembers. Shizuku is an expert swordsmaiden, and that’s a given, since she’s the heiress of the Yaegashi Kendo Style and has been training since childhood.
She is also quite intelligent, and was able to combine her Taijutsu and Sword techniques with magic empowered energy, creating devastating skills which she uses to shred monsters to pieces. She is faster than Endou, and can move at supersonic speeds, cutting faster than any foe’s reaction time.
6Kouki Amanogawa
The One With The Hero Title
Kouki Amanogawa is the role model student, with impeccable conduct and a stoic attitude. He’s a natural born leader, and since he received the mantle of Hero, it was obvious that he was meant to become the Isekai’d class headman. His Hero title grants him the strongest physical and magical attributes, as well as near-divine senses and speed.
He is also capable of unleashing powerful elemental magic, but focuses on Light magic which pairs better with his Holy Sword. He is also a practitioner of the Yaegashi Kendo Style, though he is not as skillful as Shizuku, and his weapon is not appropiate for this fighting style.
5Kaori Shirasaki
The Most Powerful Light Magic User
Kaori is also part of the childhood friend group alongside Shizuku , Kouki, and Ryutarou, and has a strong bond with those three. Her desire to protect her friends has manifested in her unlocking the Priestess class specializing in recovery and light magic. Kaori has the greatest Magic power and control among all the Isekai’d class, and has shown signs of growth way beyond that of a regular summoned.
Her progress is fueled by her strong desire to protect others, and was triggered by the guilt of not being able to save Hajime Nagumo from falling into the Abyss, which would later compel her to become one of his closest followers.
4Tio Klarus
A Literal Dragon In Human Form
Tio Klarus belongs to the dragonkin race, part human, part dragon, and able to take both shapes at will. While her magical power is incredibly high, her physical abilities are also on par with that of most of the Hero’s Party, but below Shea’s and Hajime’s. We could say that she is some sort of jack of all trades, with a position below Yue in Magical power, and two seats below Hajime in raw power.
Sinceshe is over five centuries old, she has retained a lot of knowledge and she is quite smart, though she works hard to make others think she is not, since her attitude is quite obnoxious. Her preferred weapons while in human shape are her fists, but she is also an adept whip user. While in dragon form, she is able to fly at supersonic speeds, as well as to breathe fire and destroying monsters with raw power.
3Shea Haulia
The Strongest Melee FIghter After Hajime
Shea Haulia is one of the most broken and powerful characters inArifureta, second only to Hajime in physical strength and combat prowess. But she is also an agile combatant, with greater physical capabilities, speed, and reflexes, thanks to her being part of the Rabbit Race. She also has a keen sense of hearing, which is logical since she has big rabbit ears.
But perhaps what’s most broken about her skillset, isher ability to see a glimpse of the futurewhen she’s endangered. She also has great magical power and mana capacity, though her affinity with the majority of types of magic is practically null. She is only able to use Ancient Magic to empower her own strenght even more, and uses it to wield a gigantic battlehammer to crush her foes.
2Yue
The Most Powerful Sorceress In The Anime
The most powerful magic user in the whole series, Yue (also known as Aletia) a centuries old vampire pricess who was trapped in the depths of the Great Labyrinth until Hajime freed her, and then became his lover. She is not only powerful, butknows how to wield magic without chanting, and can cast destructive spells with a flick of her fingers.
Her power level is near catastrophic, second only to Hajime’s, and her vicious unforgiving attitude is what makes her even more dangerous to any fool who dares to get in the way of her husband.
1Hajime Nagumo
Absolutely Broken, Out Of The Charts
The most broken, badass, unbalanced, and destructiveIsekai protagonist ever seen in animeand that wasn’t meant as a compliment. With near godlike power, Hajime Nagumo, once thought to be dead, rose from the Abyss to get back at those who left him for dead. His stubbornness and fixation with revenge is what kept him alive long enough to trigger his evolution into a monster hybrid by consuming the flesh of the Labyrinth creatures, which gave him great power and stats.
In terms of raw power, he is the strongest being in the world, capable of overpowering dragons, vampires, monsters, and even the chosen Heroes. With the power of his intellect and the abilities of his Synergist class, he was capable of recreating magic technology and weaponize it in a unique way, developing his own combat style which consists of using magically empowered bullets, as well as hand to hand overpowering techniques. He has also developed a lot of heavy weapons besides his dual pistols, and he wields them in the most cool and unusual ways.
