Debuting in November 2007, theAssassin’s Creedfranchise has been around for almost two decades now, and it’s only grown bigger with each passing year. While the veryfirstAssassin’s Creedentry was ambitious, the series' scope has grown exponentially since its release, with each new entry bringing a much larger map, more gameplay mechanics, more side activities, and a longer narrative.
The bigger theAssassin’s Creedfranchise gets, the more time-consuming its Platinum Trophy journey tends to be, and that’s certainly true for the series' recent RPG-focused entries. But just because a Platinum Trophy takes longer to get doesn’t necessarily mean the journey to get there is harder. Some ofAssassin’s Creed’s most difficult trophies come from entries fans might not expect.
This tier list solely ranks the difficulty of eachAssassin’s CreedPlatinum Trophy journey, not their quality.
S-Tier Assassin’s Creed Platinum Trophies
The Most Grueling Assassin’s Creed Platinum Journeys
Assassin’s Creed 3:One of the most difficult Platinum Trophies to achieve inAssassin’s CreedhistoryisAssassin’s Creed 3’s. By far the most difficult aspect ofAC3’s Platinum journey is the requirement to reach 100% Synchronization in all missions, which tasks the player with completing some incredibly difficult and frustrating optional objectives. Another core reason behindAC3’s placement at the top of this tier list is its grind. While manyAssassin’s Creedgames lower on this list have an arguably lengthier grind,AC3’s is more mind-numbing than the rest, with its various collectible hunts taking tens of hours each.
Assassin’s Creed Unity:WhileAssassin’s Creed Unityfeatures a slightly less tedious grind thanAC3, its Platinum journey involves co-op. Though the servers are technically still up, players will find it very difficult to join a full co-op lobby inAC Unity, at least long enough to obtain its more difficult multiplayer trophies.

Some Time-Consuming Assassin’s Creed Platinum Journeys
Assassin’s Creed Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla:All three ofAssassin’s Creed’s recent RPG entriesare being packaged into one here. While there are some slight variations in the length of time needed to obtain the Platinum in each one,AC Origins,Odyssey, andValhalla’s Platinum journeys are all about the same when it comes to actual difficulty. Completing theseAssassin’s CreedRPGs is relatively easy, but it does take a rather long time, with each entry setting players back almost 100 hours.
B-Tier Assassin’s Creed Platinum Trophies
Some Fairly Difficult Assassin’s Creed Platinum Journeys
Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection:The most accessible way to play these older titles,Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collectionpackages togetherAssassin’s Creed 2,Brotherhood, andRevelations. Thankfully, this version ofthe Ezio trilogyremoves any trophies associated with multiplayer, so that already knocks their Platinum difficulty down a few pegs. Each of these Platinum journeys is also fairly straightforward, with the only tedious part being the games' various collectibles, such asAC2’s infamous feathers.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag:After the inflated difficulty ofAssassin’s Creed 3,Assassin’s Creed Black Flagtakes things back to basics. Though its map is technically bigger than any that came before it,Black Flag’s varied gameplay and activity types help to make its Platinum grind feel a bit more fun.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate:Much likeBlack Flag,Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s Platinum journey is relatively straightforward and enjoyable. However, obtaining every collectible, completing every side activity, and clearing the entire map of Templar influence will still take players a decent chunk of time.
C-Tier Assassin’s Creed Platinum Trophies
Relatively Breezy Assassin’s Creed Platinum Journeys
Assassin’s Creed Liberation:Originallyreleased for the PS Vita,Assassin’s Creed Liberationis a much shorter and smaller-scale entry in the franchise, and thus it’s much easier to earn its Platinum. According to PSNProfiles, players should be able to grabAssassin’s Creed Liberation’s Platinum Trophy in just 15 hours.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue:Another smaller-scaleAssassin’s Creedadventure,Assassin’s Creed Rogueessentially takesBlack Flag’s open-world formulaand strips back a few layers, resulting in a lengthy but simple Platinum experience.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage:The most recent entry in the franchise,Assassin’s Creed Miragewas a return to basics for Ubisoft, delivering a much smaller experience than its RPG predecessors. Though it still has a few challenging Trophies on offer,AC Mirage’s Platinum journey shouldn’t really cause players any grief.
