While playingBaldur’s Gate 3,Lae’zel will ask players to head to the Githyanki Crèche during Act 1. On the way there, they will run into someone named Lady Esther, who is a member of the Society of Brilliance within Baldur’s Gate (the main city of the game).
When talking to Lady Esther, she mentions that she desperately wants a Githyanki Egg from the Githyanki Crèche, and she knows that there is one inside of there. She will then ask the player tosteal that egg for her, which is when players can decide if they want to keep the egg or give it to her. Here’s how to hatch the egg if players do keep it.
How To Get The Githyanki Egg In Baldur’s Gate 3
To obtain the Githyanki Egg, players will just need to find it. It is inside the Crèche Y’llek, which is insidethe Rosymorn Monastery. As soon as players reach the Crèche, they can find the large room that is full of pools of acid, which is the hatchery there. The Githyanki in charge is Varsh Ko’kuu, and he will explain to the player that the egg is the only one in the batch that hasn’t hatched yet, and that worries him.
Githyanki are usually made to destroy eggs like this, but he doesn’t want to at all, which is when players can ask for the egg by using Persuasion, Deception, or Intimidation. Since Lae’zel is a Githyanki, her presence can help convince him that the egg will be safe. If he agrees, he will hand over a pair of boots that can allow a character to walk through the acid. With these, the player can peacefully grab the egg and take it with them around the game’s world.
How To Hatch The Githyanki Egg In BG3
After obtaining the egg, players can actually give it to Lae’zel to hatch. To begin with, players could not do this; however, Larian Studios added this with the update that added the epilogue to the game. In order to have her raise the egg, she just needs it in her inventory before the final battle with the Elder Brain.
