Now, a creativeBaldur’s Gate 3player called Pansnakesss decided to share their latest creation, a Githyanki version of famous singer Taylor Swift. Called Tae’zel Swift, this Githyanki character has a pretty high resemblance with the pop star and is a Level 1 Bard with Charisma 17. The post was pretty popular on r/BaldurGate3, achieving over 4,200 upvotes, and getting a pretty positive reaction from the player base, which came up with funny names for songs like “Illithid Affairs,” inspired by the singers’ 2020 song “Illicit Affairs.”
Taylor Swift Recreated as a Githyanki in Baldur’s Gate 3
This was not the first time thatBG3fans decided to recreate Taylor Swift in the game, however. Last year, a gamer made aDark Urge Elf version of Taylor Swift inBaldur’s Gate 3. This was a much more realistic version of the character, though, apart from the pointy ears.
Recreating famous people inBaldur’s Gate 3seems like a popular hobby for the community. Earlier this year, for example,a fan recreated Gordon Ramsay inBaldur’s Gate 3. This fan did a pretty good job of creating a character that had an uncanny resemblance with the popular British chef, mimicking even the wrinkles on his forehead.
While recreating Taylor Swift as a Githyanki may be appealing to some people, others would likely find the concept of turning an original Githyanki character into a human more amusing, and that’s what a fan did a few months ago. At the time, the fan devisedhuman versions of Karlach and Lae’zel inBaldur’s Gate 3, achieving an impressive result that was very similar to these characters in the game, despite the swapped race.
