Over the last nine generations of thePokemonfranchise, series developer Game Freak has continued to grow the series with new gameplay mechanics. Deoxys, the DNA Pokemon, is said to come from outer space as an alien virus, mutating into its current form after crashing into the Pokemon world via a meteorite. A rival of the powerful Rayquaza, Deoxys is one ofthe rarestPokemon. It is known to hold its own against the most powerful Pocket Monsters due to its ability to transform into different forms.
Thepowerful mythical Pokemoncan adopt a speed, defense, attack, and normal form. Each of the forms changes Deoxys' stats as seen in the table above. For example, the Speed Forme gives Deoxys a base stat of 180 speed, while its Attack Forme elevates its stats to a staggering 180 across both normal and special attacks. Across each of its forms, its stats equal 600, equivalent to a pseudo-legendary.
While Deoxys does not come top of the class in most of these stats, it is within the top ten Pokemon for each stat type. It is also thefastest Pokemon in the serieswhen in its Speed Forme, beating the speedy Pheromosa to the top. It also has the highest Special Attack and Special Defense stats of any alien Pokemon.

Kartana, the Drawn Sword Pokemon, is astrong Ultra Beastthat resembles a katana sword. Known for its ability to cut through steel, the Pokemon has the highest offensive attackstat of extraterrestrial life on this list. Kartana has an attack of 181, placing it third after Mega Heracross and Mega Mewtwo X. The ultra beast is known to come from another world in space known as the ultra forest, traveling to the Pokemon world via an ultra wormhole.
Kartana can learn powerful moves such as Sacred Sword and Leaf Blade due to its Grass/Steel typing. While not the most well-rounded on this list, with weak defense and health, Kartana is a formidable opponent that outmatches all others in terms of pure attack power.

The extraterrestrial with the highest defense, Stakataka is another Ultra Beast. Like Kartana, Stakataka is said to have come from another dimension in space through what is known as an ultra wormhole, which acts as a portal connecting the Pokemon world with ultra space.
This Pokemon has a base defense stat of 211, making it the second-highest defensive Pokemon after Mega Steelix, Aggron, and the adorable Shuckle, which are all tied at 230. Nevertheless, Stakataka’s defense, half-decent attack, and dual rock/steel typing make it a valuable asset for players.

This one may be a contentious pick for an alien Pokemon. But according to Pokemon lore, Giratina, as well as its deity counterparts, Dialga, Palkia, and Arceus, are all from different dimensions within the Pokemon universe. Giratina lives in the Distortion World, a ‘distorted’ inverse version of the Pokemon world that does not abide by the laws of gravity.
Giratina is a demon-like pocket monster that Arceus exiled to the Distortion World.
