5Anaak Jahad

The Demi-Princess Desperately Seeking Revenge

Anaak Jahad is a demi-princess who is climbing the Tower, driven by her desire for revenge. Despite never getting the recognition like other princesses, Anaak manages to get her hands on two of the 13 Months Series Ignition weapons. She wields the Green April with extreme precision and control, which is a testament to her combat skills.

“I don’t run away—not because I am arrogant, but because I ‘can’t.'”

Endorsi Jahad in Tower of God

Although Anaak is initially cold and appears selfish, deep down she is soft-hearted and wise. When she ends up having a one-on-one confrontation with Endorsi, the fight allows the two to finally see each other for who they truly are. The duo end up fighting side-by-side from then on. Anaak’s desire for vengeance comes from the painful persecution endured by her and her mother. In a way, she seeks justice for the loss and hate she tolerated. Anaak’s struggles are moving, and her defiance in the face of insurmountable odds is quite inspiring.

4Endorsi Jahad

A member of the powerful Jahad family, Endorsi is a princess and, naturally, a regular who becomes close friends with Khun and Anaak. Although her looks might be deceptive, she is 300 years old and started climbing the Tower at a much older age, even for a princess. Unlike most of her sisters, Endorsi is quite human and cordial. Unfortunately, she was abandoned by her biological parents at a young age and was later adopted by a couple in the Middle Area who raised her before she became a princess.

“I’m not expecting you to understand me, though. And it doesn’t change the fact that I’m a devil, either. I’m just following what my heart tells me to. Isn’t it the same for everyone? We just don’t seek the same.”

Yihwa in Tower of God

Endorsi’s physical strength and combat skillsare on par with some of the strongest regulars in the Tower, and she is capable of single-handedly fighting dangerous adversaries who cross her path. Her brutal fighting prowess, coupled with an understanding and kind nature, makes her an extremely likable character.

3Yihwa Yeon

The Yeon Family’s Flare

One of the 10 Great Families, the Yeon is a matriarchal household led by Yeon Yirang. The family naturally has an immense influence on the Tower and owns the 21st Floor. Despite being a matriarchal household, daughters are born only once every 100 years and are gifted with incredible flame manipulation abilities. Yihwa Yeon is no exception, as she possesses powers that, when controlled, would easily put most regulars to shame.

Yihwa, like other regulars, is persistent and determined to reach the top of the Tower. Despite failing on the 20th floor on more than one occasion, she goes as far as taking a debt to retake the test. When it comes down to depending on others to clear the exam, she even begs Jyu Viole Grace to pick her as a teammate. Yihwa, in multiple instances, displays that her desire to climb is her top priority, and she is willing to put her ego aside for it. Over time, she eventually appears to harbor romantic feelings for Viole, but it’s uncertain if her feelings are reciprocated or not.

Rachel in Tower of God

2Rachel “Michelle Light”

Bam’s Best Friend Who Betrayed Him for Her Ambitions

Rachel “Michelle Light” is an irregularwho became friends with Bam after they met each other in the cave. She is one of the select few who is acquainted with the Outside. During the time she spent in the cave with Bam, she expressed a deep-rooted desire to climb the Tower so that she could finally see the stars.

“I’m going up the tower. Remember what I told you, Bam? I can get to the outer world if I get to the top of the tower. I will see blue sky during the day, and starlight at night. So, I’m going up the tower. I’m sick of living in this dark world. I’m sorry, Bam. I’m sorry. Forget about me. Let me be born again.”

Yuri in Tower of God

Rachel is so obsessed with her desire to reach the top of the Tower that she is willing to go to any lengths for it. Even though Bam is selflessly in love with her, she envies the fact that he is naturally gifted. It is later revealed that, when she arrived on the first floor of the Tower, she was informed by Headon that she was too weak to climb.

Overcome by her jealousy of Bam and desperate for any chance, she agrees to Headon’s deal to defeat her friend by her own hands. Eventually, Rachel and Bam reunite while climbing the tower, and during an administrator’s test, the former tries to kill the latter. Although she recognizes that Bam is the only person who truly cares for her, Rachel’s obsession to reach the top of the tower pushes her to extreme lengths. Even after committing the despicable crime, Rachel seems to have little regret. However, her actions eventually become the reason for Bam’s transformation, who survives the attempted murder. So, despite having a negative influence,Rachel plays a critical role in the story.

Tower of God

1Ha Yuri Jahad

The Ha Family Princess Who Is Notorious for Being Reckless

Ha Yuri Jahad is a strong-willed, independent, bold, and impulsive character who thrives under pressure and loves challenges. As a high-ranker and member of the Ha family, she possesses superhuman physical strength and combat prowess that makes her stand out even against some of the most fearsome foes. She is also the only princess (after Garam Jahad) to wield two 13 Months Series Ignition weapons at the same time.

Yuri has taken a special interest in Bam ever since she encountered him on the first floor of the Tower when he was being tested by Headon. Displaying uncharacteristic sympathy and affection towards him, she goes as far as lending him the Black March. This attitude also highlights a recurring theme in her character.

Yuri is unlike most Jahad princesses, as she puts faith in her moral compass to make decisions instead of blindly following the rules and frequently challenges the status quo. Because of her influence among the Ha and Jahad families, Yuri manages to avoid any accountability for her recklessness, which would have put other princesses in a lot of danger. The special treatment she receives speaks volumes about her power and cements the idea that she is exceptional even among her talented sisters.
