Mega Aerodactyl has an equally strong attack with a base stat of 135, and Mega Alakazam has a special attack of 175.

BothPocket Monstersare a force to be reckoned with, with both having unique new forms after mega-evolving. Mega Alakazam adopts a far more rugged appearance, with rocks protruding from its body, while Alakazam has a longer beard and more spoons than its normal counterpart.

The ferocious mega Garchomp can be evolved using the mega stone ‘Garchompite.’ Known for being the trusty partner of the Sinnoh champion Cynthia and one of thestrongest Sinnoh Pokemon, Garchomp levels up in appearance and power once Mega Evolved.

Donning scythes for hands and the ability ‘Sand Force’ that increases a move’s power during sandstorms, Mega Garchomp is a force to be reckoned with. A Mega Evolved Garchomp has thebest health statof Mega Evolved Pokemon, coming in at 108 health points. It is lethal in terms of power and has the health of a walking tank to back it up.

One of the two Mega Evolutions that Mewtwo can evolve into, Mega Mewtwo X, is the most powerful Pokemon in series history withthe highest attack.

Mewtwo X has a whopping 190 base attack, dealing an additional ten more damage than Mega Heracross, which comes in at a close second. Mega Mewtwo X is tied with Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Rayquaza as having the highest overall combined stats.

Much like Mega Mewtwo X, Mewtwo Y is a powerhouse regarding stats, boasting an egregious 194 special attack stat. This is thehighest special attackof all Mega Evolved Pokemon and every Pokemon ever.

Moves such as Psychic and Psystrike are particularly powerful, with Mega Mewtwo Y mopping up the competition because of them. Like Mewtwo X, its stat total comes in at a staggering 780, making this Pokemon a true force to be reckoned with.

An often overlooked Mega Evolution, Mega Latias can be evolved from the legendary Pokemon Latias using the mega stone Latiosite. Much like its pre-evolved form, Mega Latias has the ability ‘Levitate,’ which grants full immunity to ground-type moves.

Mega Latias has thebest special defenseof its Mega Evolved counterparts. Defending against special attack moves like ‘Flamethrower’ is very easy due to the pocket monster’s sky-high 150 special defense stat.

On the defense side, Mega Steelix is tied as the best Mega Evolution in terms of defense. Known for its hardened, steely exterior and high base defense stat of 200, Steelix, on its own, has an exponentially high defense stat that can ward off even the most powerful attacks.

The upgrade to Mega Steelix increases this stat further to 230. Once mega evolved, crystals protrude from its body and are surrounded by floating rocks. Mega Steelix is arguably one of the harder Mega Evolutions to obtain due to the need to trade an Onix with a metal coat before it evolves into a normal Steelix.

Mega Aggron, the iron armor Pokemon, ties with Mega Steelix forthe highest defense. Fierce in nature, Aggron is known to defend its territory aggressively, claiming an entire mountain for its own. Mega Aggron pushes its abilities to the next level with a defense stat of 230.

Once the pocket monster has undergone Mega Evolution, it dons more armor plates with a hardened defense. Though matching the same defense as Mega Steelix, Mega Aggron has the overall higher combined stats of 630.

The legendary Pokemon Rayquaza never needed an upgrade, but Game Freak gave it one in the remakes ofPokemon Ruby and Sapphire:Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which was released in 2014. Mega Raquaza, much like Mewtwo X and Y, was banned from competitive play due to being too powerful. It had the highest overall stat of any Pokemon.

This pocket monster is a battle machine in every sense, with an attack and special attack of 180, defensive equivalents at 100, and some of the largest health and thebest speed stats inPokemonmeta. The highest stats combined with ‘Delta Stream’ and a cooler design (if that is possible) place Rayquaza at the top of the pecking order regarding thebest Mega Evolutions with the highest stats.
