MK 20 SSR Attachments:
This first build for the MK 20 SSR is a great option for players who haven’tleveled up the weapon all the wayyet. The attachments used for this build are all available from levels 1 to 11, making them highly accessible. The two standout attachments for alow-level MK 20 SSR buildare theRecon Barreland theSuperlight Grip, which togetherprovide a 15% boost in ADS speed, the fastest ADS speed possible for a low-level build.
In addition to improving the weapon’s ADS speed, the Recon Barrel also reduces the player’s visibility on the minimap, at the cost of slightly reduced movement speed. Other benefits of this build includeincreased accuracy across range with the Reflex Sightand a15% increase in reload speedwith theQuick Mag. Lastly, theHeavy Grip enhances accuracyby improving ADS flinch control by 10% and slightly improving horizontal recoil control. For a good Secondary weapon at close range, the 93R is a great choice, though any weapon will do.
High DPS MK 20 SSR Build For A High TTK
The MK 20 SSR’s strongest benefit is its ability to provide a reliable two-shot kill when fired at the upper torso. However, sometimes the weapon can be put at a disadvantage against otherweapons like the ACR 6.8, which can kill opponents much faster on average. This is where this build comes in, as it aims toboost the weapon’s overall TTK. The two most standout attachments are theRapid Fire Barreland theMuzzle Booster, each of which increases the weapon’s fire rate. This allows players to fire more shots in quick succession, thus eliminating opponents much faster.
On top of a faster fire rate, this build also featuresincreased ADS speedthrough the use of both theSuper Light Gripand theQuick Draw Grip. Other benefits includeincreased reload speedand anadditional two rounds per magazinewith theQuick Mag. While the use of an optic has been dropped in favor of other attachments, the iron sights on this weapon provide clear sights for close-to-medium range. The only major drawback of this build is its increased recoil, which can sometimes be an issue at long range. For a good Secondary, opt for weapons like the93Ror the686 Magnum.
Best Build To Use For Long-Range Engagements
This last build is ideal for allowing the MK 20 SSR toremain a reliable two-shot kill from a distance. Much like the previous build, theMuzzle Boosterhas been retained toimprove the fire ratefor a slightly faster TTK on average. This time, however, the Muzzle Booster is paired with theChrome-Lined Barreltoenhance the weapon’s effective damage range. TheSuper Light GripandQuick Draw Gripalso return, each aiming to maintain the weapon’s ADS speed at baseline levels.
Other useful attachments for this build include theReflex Sight, which improves the weapon’s overall accuracy at long range. Though the ADS speed of this build is not exactly the lowest it can be, it’s not exactly high either, which can be a drawback if players find themselves being pushed by enemies withSubmachine Guns like the MP7. However, in terms of long-range potential, this build is excellent — ideal for game modes like Escort. Like always, for a solid Secondary inXDefiant, players can go with whatever they prefer.
