Summary
When starting a fresh game in7 Days To Die, players will need to work fast to build a base and nab some good loot before the first Blood Moon. Good time management is key to surviving andmaking it to the highest possible level. One thing that players can do to increase their odds of survival is clear and loot locations that are best suited to their level.
If the player charges head first into a high-levelPOI (point of interest), then they are likely to meet a grisly end pretty quickly. So, it’s important to search locations that are manageable yet rewarding during the early stages of the game. For the most part, players may want to stick to the forest region, as it is where most of the easiest POIs are located. Should the player venture into one of the more difficult biomes, they may come up against some very tough enemies.
5Mission Locations
Complete Trader Missions
Traders play a big role in7 Days To Die. Not only are theygreat for buying and selling items, but they can also give the players missions to complete. These missions vary from hidden treasure quests to clearing buildings and retrieving items. There are even missions that require the player to go out after dark. What makes these missions so good is that they aretailored to the player’s current level and game stage. As the player progresses through the game, the missions will get more difficult, but they are designed to keep in line with one’s overall abilities.
Not only that, but it is possible to loot a mission location twice. After activating a clear or retrieve mission, instead of interacting with the mission marker, players can head inside and clear the building. After that, gamers can go back outside and start the mission. This will cause the building’s contents to respawn, allowing you to loot the same area twice.
4Most Abandoned Homes
The Easiest Places To Loot
There are lots of abandoned homes all over the7 Days to Diemap. While some of them will come up with a 2 or even 3 tier warnings, there are lots of homes that don’t have any difficulty rating tied to them. Homes like The Pawpaw Residence only have a couple of zombies inside.
The loot isn’t that brilliant, but what makes these homes great is their materials. Inside these homes, players can expect to find plenty of furniture that can be broken down into cloth fragments. They may also finda safe hidden behind a painting or tucked away in an attic. While these places aren’t particularly lucrative, they can be very useful for players during the first couple of days. These homes are also somewhat decentplaces to spend the first couple of nights.
3Working Stiff Tools
A Great Place For Base Builders
Whether the player is on a pre-built game or a custom map, they can typically find a handful of Working Stiff Tools stores dotted around the map. Usually, ones based in the forest biome are easier to clear; they tend to have a difficulty rating of between tier 2 and 3. While players may struggle to loot one of these places during the first few days, after a week or so, gamers should have no issues clearing out a Working Stiff Tools.
As is alluded to in its title, Working Stiff Tools shops arenormally filled with tools and equipment. Players can expect to find lots of building materials, tools, and a handful of crafting magazines that will allow them to craft better quality items. Players may also come acrossa few melee weaponsif they are lucky.
2Pop-N-Pills Mini-Mart
A Great Stop For Stocking Up On Meds
There are several types of Pop-N-Pills that7 Days to Dieplayers can come across while exploring the map. Some are large buildings that span over a couple of floors, and others are smaller supermarket-style buildings. While the largest Pop-N-Pills stores are much harder to loot, the mini-mart versions are fairly easy. The backroom of a Pop-N-Pills Mini-Mart isfilled with medicine cabinets and Pop-N-Pills crates.
Pop-N-Pills Mini-Marts are great in the early days when players are indesperate need of medical supplies. Infections are common, so being able to have a handful of antibiotics on hand can be a real lifesaver.
1Crack-A-Book
Magazine Gold Mines
Magazines are key to progression in7 Days To Die.If the player stumbles across a Crack-A-Book, then it’s definitely worth looting. As the name suggests, Crack-A-Book stores are bookstores. They arefilled with book pilesand loot containers that contain all sorts of magazines. These stores are also pretty good for finding paper and cloth fragments, but they are mostly good for getting lots of magazines.
There will bea handful of zombies inside, and maybe even a dog, but players who have gone through their first week shouldn’t have much of an issue clearing one of these stores out. If the player is unsure whether they are ready to clear out one of these stores, then they should open up the front door and attempt to lure some of the zombies outside. It is easier to take down zombies while they are out in the open than to try and kill them inside buildings.
