Who is Lolopechka?
Lolopechka is a kind ruler of the Heart Kingdom, overseeing her citizens and protecting them from harm
Lolopechka is the current princess and ruler of the Heart Kingdom inBlack Clover;however, other characters also refer to her as Queen. She has inherited most of the powers of the previous princesses of the Heart Kingdom. In addition, she is also the priestess of the spirit of water, Undine. As Lolopechka has inherited the magic powers of the princesses that came before her, she has an unfathomable amount of magic power, as Noelle notes in Chapter 228.
As a result of this power, Lolopechka is able to monitor the entirety of the Heart Kingdom from her chamber and control her Water Magic ability flawlessly. Unlike the Clover Kingdom, the Heart Kingdom has its own system of rating an individual’s magic skills. As the citizens of the Heart Kingdom have adapted to their environment’s strong mana, they have since developed a new method to create spells. As a result, they have created the Magic Stages and Mana Method. There are ten stages, from Level 0 to Level 9, with the strongest being anArcane Stage Mage. Mana Method is the Heart Kingdom’s unique method of generating one’s True Magic abilities.
Lolopechka is a young woman who is often clumsy, falling over her feet. However, she cares greatly for the people within her Kingdom, often monitoring them with a monitoring spell. However, as Megicula curses her, she has only one year to live. Since the discovery of Devils and the Dark Triad, the Clover and Heart Kingdoms have a common goal: to produce powerful mages to take down the Dark Triad. As a result, Lolopechka has agreed to train Asta,Noelle, Secre, Mimosa,and Finral, who have “unnatural magic,” in preparation for the upcoming battle.
However, six months later,the Dark Triadset off to the Clover and Heart Kingdom to retrieve the twoArcane Stage mages, Yami Sukihiroand William Vangeance, who possess Dark and World Tree Magic, in addition to Lolopechka, who has Megicula’s curse. The Dark Triad seeks to recreate the Tree of Qliphoth, a channel that connects the underworld to the human world, which is why there is a need for Yami and William. Vanica and Megicula, however, sought out Lolopechka as the curse on her was nearing its end.
To satisfy Vanica’s amusement after learning of the connection between Noelle and Acier, Vanica then decides to kidnap and hold Lolopechka hostage in the hopes that Noelle will become stronger. However, kidnapping Lolopechka also served another purpose. As mentioned previously, Lolopechka retains the powers of all the previous princesses of the Heart Kingdom and can freely access their wisdom.
However, Morris, a scholar exiled from the Diamond Kingdom, found a way to extract and transplant Lolopechka’s wisdom and use it to accelerate the growth of the Tree of Qliphoth. Lolopechka is then placed under a spell, forced to attack her friends, and used as a hostage as Megicula can control when she wants to kill Lolopechka with her curse. Noelle and Nozel later save Lolopechka.
Why did Megicula curse Lolopechka?
Due to Lolopechka’s impressive magic powers, she’s Megicula’s next target
As mentioned above,Megicula cursed Lolopechka, and she only had one year left to live. This curse is called the Evil Goddess’s Curse or Malevolent Femcantation. For Megicula to manifest into the human world, she needed three Arcane or Saint Stage mages of the same sex. To do this, Megicula would need to place her curse on them, and this curse would weaken and eventually kill them.
After the mage has been killed, Megicula would then own the soul of that mage and thus be able to use their powers. Megicula was already in possession of Vanica and Acier Silva. However, Lolopechka has been searching for ways to defeat Megicula and break the curse. Unfortunately for Megicula, this curse takes a painstakingly long to conclude, as sourcing powerful mages between the various kingdoms has been far between.
As a result of Lolopechka’s death, Megicula can fully manifest within the human world. This is not the only way for Megicula to manifest within the human world, as the opening of the Tree of Qliphoth will open the channel for her to enter the world; however, this is her preferred method, likely due to the fact that she is a Supreme Devil.
What are Lolopechka’s magic abilities?
Undine has made hostesses out of the Heart Kingdom’s princesses for generations
Lolopechka can use Water magic and has a contract with the spirit of water, Undine. As previously mentioned, Lolopechka can monitor the entirety of the Heart Kingdom thanks to her immense magic powers. Additionally, she prevents any unauthorized visitors from entering her kingdom. To do this, with the assistance of Undine, Lolopechka maintains a barrier surrounding the Heart Kingdom, which immediately alerts anyone attempting to enter. If one were to enter the Kingdom, one would need to make a formal request; however, only the Nobles of the Clover Kingdom would be allowed to enter.
Although Lolopechka has immense mana and magic powers passed down from previous generations, Lolopechka has no attack spells. In Chapter 295, Undine notes that Lolopechka cannot learn any attack spells because of her innate kindness. As a result, Lolopechka would not be able to use Saint Stage, a magic ability only spirit hosts can obtain. However, she can use healing magic.
However, when Megicula and Vanica took Lolopechka hostage, her contract with Undine was temporarily dissolved. Although Lolopechka was no longer had the spirit of Undine, she still had immense mana. Megicula also turned her magic into Demon Water Magic, as Megicula could actively change her curse and turn her into a Devil. However, after she is saved, Lolopechka and Undine reunite and resume the contract.
