In a new post on Twitter, user iExplosiveRage revealed a major hurdle that the shadPS4 emulator has crossed inemulatingBloodborneon PC. While the shadPS4 emulator set the ball rolling on emulatingBloodborneon PC quite a while back, it was plagued with a number of issues. One of the major ones was the sound not working as expected, and as per recent footage, it seems like a majority of those problems have been solved.
Bloodborne PC Emulation Sound Issues Mostly Fixed, But There’s A Catch
The tweet adds that an array of things, ranging from the menu sounds to the character’s and enemy’s sounds, seems to be working quite well, something which wasn’t the case earlier. to fix the sounds, players will have todownload aBloodbornemodfrom Nexus Mods. However, there is a catch. So far, it seems like the mod is only supporting the English language, but the creator has assured that they will work on other languages once they complete the entire batch of sounds. This also likely suggests that a few sounds might not work as expected as the entire sound pack hasn’t been fixed yet.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for the issues to be ironed out and the emulation to get more polished. Apart from PC players finally getting a chance to play the game after waiting for almost a decade, the emulation has also opened up a number of secrets in the game. For instance, aplayer found a proper shield inBloodborne’sassets, something that didn’t feature in the game altogether. Considering the pace at which the development is progressing, it shouldn’t be surprising to see the game being fully functional in the coming months.
