Sacked is one of the few side missions inBorderlands 3that can catch players off-guard. While nearlyall the other missionsare relatively straightforward, Sacked involves a bit of puzzle-solving that can feel like an annoying obstacle, slowing down the otherwise quick pacing of the game. Instead of blasting your way forward, you must take your time tosearch for a particular cluethat can be tricky to find inBL3.
Where’s the Clue in Borderlands 3’s Sacked Mission?
Sacked takes place in theJakobs Estate on Eden-6. Head inside the manor and interact with the closet, as marked on the map above, to reveal thecorpse of the butler. The side mission can then be picked up from the body, after which your first objective will be to “Search for Clue” inside the manor.
Sacked has alevel 21 requirement. If there is no exclamation mark outside the closet, you are either under-leveled or facing a bug. RestartingBorderlands 3should fix the problem if it’s a bug.
While facing the closet, head right into the living room. What you are looking for here is agolden buston a wooden stand near a locked Jakobs chest. To find the clue, interact with the statue. It will spin around before exploding. Once the smoke clears, notice agreen buttonon the stand where the bust used to be. Push the button to find the clue and advance the Sacked storyline inBorderlands 3.
Your next objective will be tounlock the chestby finding anddestroying three more busts in the manor. Unlike the first one, though, the next three busts will be highlighted in red. There should be no problemtracking down these statues inBL3.
With the busts gone, return to open the Jakobs chest for a recording that adds more context to what happened toAurelia Jakobs. The remaining objectives will lead your search to the servants' quarters, cellar, grotto, and finally, into some tunnels leading underneath Jakobs Estate. Each location will have more clues to find, but they will be right in the open. The only problem you will have will be with the first one.
