Mo and Jade went on a few dates, and they appeared to have a very close connection despite the real intention being to bring him down. Bosch: Legacyseason 2expanded the character of Maurice ‘Mo’ Bassi significantly, with a storyline involving a possible romantic connection with a woman called Jade Quinn, whom he met at a hacker conference. The pair hit it off and went on a couple of dates, butit all came crashing down when it was discovered Jade was actually an FBI Agent called Janice Morrell.

After Mo’s arrest, Agent William Baron (Anthony Michael Hall), who was leading the FBI investigation intoBosch and Chandler, claimed Jade was a hacker who stole corporate secrets, and if Mo didn’t co-operate with them, they would arrest her. However, Mo figured out Jade was in the FBI and her job was to get him to turn on Bosch and Chandler. However,Jade’s feelings for Mo Bassi were real, despite her being hired to bring him down.

The relationship between Mo and Jade is complicated, but it was clear from their chemistry inBosch: Legacyseason 2 that they did have a very real connection, which creates a lot of potential stories inBosch: Legacyseason 3. Mo Bassi was very much on the peripheral inBosch: Legacyseason 1, but the storyline between his character and Jade was a real highlight of the sophomore season, and it would be a shame if it didn’t receive more coverage in the upcoming season.

Season 3 Should Expand Mo And Jade’s Relationship WIth The FBI Investigation Still Ongoing

Mo Bassi made sure there was no evidence linking him to any criminal activities, and he turned the tables on Jade/Janice, by giving her a big choice to make when she claims she really did like him: Quit the FBI, or he’ll reveal her true identity to the hacker community. Agent Baron had planned to keep Jade undercover, but Mo’s clever play has made this option potentially untenable.

Mo’s ultimatum to Jade could potentially backfire, butit would be more interesting if this forbidden relationship was given the opportunity to expand inBosch: Legacyseason 3.There is a chancethe FBI investigation into Bosch and Chandler will be put on hold, with a lot of other plot points needing development. If this is the case, it could give Mo and Jade the chance to explore a romantic relationship on the side. However, it would create more tension if the FBI case was still ongoing and Mo and Jade had to hide their affair.

It hasn’t been confirmed if Jessica Camacho will return as Jade/Janice inBosch: Legacyseason 3, but it would be very odd if she didn’t appear, after the set-up for her character in season 2. However, the FBI investigation plot point did get a disappointing update when it was revealedAnthony Michael Hall wouldn’t be returning to play Agent William BaroninBosch: Legacyseason 3. Baron was the driving force in the FBI’s investigation into Bosch and Chandler, but his omission could create a bigger role for Jade/Janice.

If Janice Morrell (Jade Quinn) was to take over as lead investigator in the case against Bosch and Chandler, this could complicate her feelings for Mo Bassieven more, and potentially scupper the whole investigation. It would create the ultimate dilemma of choosing between her career and her personal life.Mo Bassi probably won’t turn on Bosch and Chandler, so Jade/Janice has her work cut out trying to get him to co-operate with the FBI investigation, if she was to take a more prominent role in place of Agent Baron.
