On Twitter, CharlieIntel compiled a list of changes that will be made toWarzonewithBlack Ops 6’s launch, which was discussed during the Call of Duty NEXT livestream. The aforementionedomnidirectional movement system will be implemented inWarzone, and the backpack system will be removed entirely. Players will be able to use tactical sprints while holding a knife, ensuring players are more mobile directly after landing on the battlefield. In addition, Wildcards fromBlack Ops Cold Warwill be making a return in bothBlack Ops 6andWarzone.

Fortunately,Warzoneplayers will retain access to their favorite weapons fromModern Warfare 2andModern Warfare 3whenBlack Ops 6launches.
ManyCall of Dutyfans appear to be conflicted about the upcomingWarzonechanges on Twitter, with some pointing out the removal of backpacks as the most contentious change. On the other hand, some players believe these changes will make the battle royale game feel more likethe originalWarzonefrom 2020.
Several quality-of-life improvements will be made toWarzonein October, and player feedback will be vital for more changes in the first season and its Reloaded mid-season update. There’s still one more season forModern Warfare 3and the current iteration ofWarzonebeforeBlack Ops 6arrives, however.
