The popular Bunker BusterCall of Duty: Warzonekillstreak, however, appears to be suffering from glitches that allow players to exploit it to gain an unfair advantage. Via the official CODUpdates Twitter account, developer Raven Software announced that the killstreak is temporarily disabled while it investigates the issue.

Call of Duty: Warzone Bunker Buster Bug Allows Infinite Duplication

Though Raven did not specify what the issue was in its announcement, player reports on social media and withinWarzonecommunities indicate that the bug affecting the Bunker Buster allowed players to duplicate the device that calls in the killstreak, giving them access to “insane” numbers of Bunker Busters to use on their foes. The Bunker Buster was first introduced as part of theCall of Duty: WarzoneandModern Warfare 3Season 2 Reloaded updatein March 2024.

The Bunker Buster is a popularWarzonekillstreak because it can be used to clear enemies out of a building. Called in like a mortar or artillery strike, the Bunker Buster can penetrate a building and distribute a deadly gas on multiple floors, flushing out players hiding inside. The only players that can withstand the Bunker Buster’s effect are those taking advantage of aWarzonegas maskor similar protective equipment.

Reaction to the disabling of the Bunker Buster ranged from praise for the developers for acting quickly to those expressing frustration at the continued presence of such bugs. Others lamented the temporary loss of a beloved “anti-camper” tool. Some who disliked the Bunker Buster suggested permanently disabling the killstreak, or reworking it to lower the duration of its gas effect. Some players also reported that the duplication glitch affects not just the Bunker Buster but all killstreak devices, though as of this writing, Raven Software has not yet acknowledged if this is the case.
