To do this, the team carefully redrew the game’s graphics in 4K, making sure every detail was sharp and visually appealing. The original backgrounds, which were hand-drawn in pencil and scanned at a high resolution, were used as the base for this transformation. The team digitally repainted these backgrounds, adding new details that weren’t possible before because of the limitations of 1990s technology.
