Something that can help a live service game build its fan base is by releasing regular updates that fix issues and address fan feedback. To that end, developer Firewalk Studios has released multiple updatesforConcordsince its early access launch. Two more updates were released forConcordon August 25. The first one made a tweak to the Rivalry playlist that reduced its level for entry and added bonus XP rewards, plus fixed minor problems. The latestConcordupdate fixed an issue where the game’s Time Trial Leaderboards were showing incorrect data.

The tweaks toConcord’s Rivalry playlist should be a big help. As earlyConcordplayers can attest, it’svirtually impossible to get into a Rivalry matchcompared to the other game modes. For the uninitiated,Concord’s Rivalry playlist is essentially the game’s equivalent of ranked, with no respawns and highly competitive matches. Prior to the update, the level required to playConcord’s Rivalry mode was 6. The patch notes do not state what the new level requirement is, and I can’t check in-game since I sailed through level 6 within a few matches.

Leveling up inConcordis actually pretty easy, but if the level requirement was genuinely keeping people from playing Rivalry, hopefully this new update breathes some life into the playlist. Anyone having difficulty leveling up inConcordshould complete the game’s challenges, which dole out significant XP and can help players boost their levels significantly.
