Cooking is a simple affair inCore Keeper, only needingtwo ingredients per dish. Here’s what you need to do to become the master chef of your dreams:
How Does Cooking Work In Core Keeper
There are a variety of things that affect the end resultin the cooking pot. First and foremost, is thequality of the ingredientsthat you use when cooking. Higher quality ingredients will give you a higher quality result, since the end result of any cooking depends mostly on the effects of the starting ingredients.
Combining two ingredients will, naturally, combine their individual effects. Higher quality ingredients will take precedence over the lower quality ones, with their effects being more prominent. If there are two similar effects in ingredients, the one with the higher numerical value will be used in the final dish.
When both foods are of the same quality, the chosen effects are random.
The perks you’ve invested inwill also determine some of the additional effects on your dish. For example, the “Power of Omega-3!” talent will give players a damage boost against bosses if they create a dish using a fish. Similarly, the “Long Lasting” talent will increase the duration of all food buffs by a certain amount, and the “Utilizing every ingredient” talent will increase the food value of your creations.
