If you find cattle out in the wild, it’s important toguide them back to your base— or capture them so you may easily give them food and get resources in return. Here’s what you need to do to bring back an animal to your base:
If you don’t have a leash, you can keep feed in your hand to make the cattle follow you. This will inevitably take longer, but it is a good way to obtain animals at the start of the game.
If two cattle of the same type stay in the same area, they will produce young cattle of the same type after a certain amount of feeding. The young cattle won’t produce any resources until they have matured after feeding a few times.

There’s no harm in keeping cattle of different types next to each other. However, verify you add theirdifferent types of feedto the Feeding Tray so all of them can continue eating. There are five types of cattle found in the game, and they consume three types of feed.
