Characters inZenless Zone Zerocan be diverse when it comes to combat and how they approach it. Some characters prefer to hit enemies’ Daze and Stun them for their allies to complete the job and some like to build Anomalies and trigger strong effects on their opponents.
With that being said, there are still some traditional characters that are straight to the point with their combat style. For example, Corin is a character who’s holding a chainsaw and can continuously slash her opponents while building up her DMG. However, to make sure Corin can get the best DMG outcome out of this simple task, building her with the right Drive Discs and W-Engine is crucial inZZZ.
Corin Skills, Explained - Zenless Zone Zero
While Corin’s mechanics are simple, they’re effective if you team her with a team that canenhance her DMG inZenless Zone Zero. Corin’s playstyle revolves around repeatedly pressing or holding down her Basic or EX Special Attack buttons, which will make her hold her chainsaw and continuously hit in a certain direction. This attack can be enhanced from multiple sources, especially through her Drive Discs and Core Skill.
For that attack alone, Corin gets around 35% extra DMG from her Core Skill, 35% extra DMG from her Drive Discs if she or another ally triggered Assault, and 35% extra DMG if the enemy was Stunned. This would be a lot of extra DMG if Corin and her team were able to pull all the conditions off.
Corin Best W-Engines In ZZZ - Zenless Zone Zero
Steel Cushionis a perfect weapon for Corin inZenless Zone Zerobecause itmainly buffs Physical Attack characterson top of giving her a 24% Crit Rate. Steel Cushion has two passives that grant Corin 20% extra Physical DMG and 25% if she were hitting enemies from behind, which can be easy to fulfill since she needs to attack stunned enemies anyway.
For other options,The Brimstoneis a close second to Steel Cushion because of Corin’s ability to quickly maximize the ATK% buff.Housekeeperis a 4-star W-Engine that works perfectly with Corin since it’s her signature weapon. As long as Corin is hitting, her 4-star signature weapon will massively increase her Physical DMG, especially if it was in Phase 5.
Corin Best Drive Discs In ZZZ - Zenless Zone Zero
There’s no doubt that4pc of Fanged Metalis the best DD formost Physical DPS units inZenless Zone Zero. It grants Corin 35% extra DMG to her endless hits after triggering Assault on enemies by her or her allies. Not only that, but Fanged Metal also grants Corin 10% extra Physical DMG, which is one of the stats she needs. For the extra 2pc, go for Woodpecker Electro as it further increases Corin’s Crit Rate and that’s also a stat she needs for her DMG.
Alternatively, players can go with 4pc of Hormone Punk. It generally increases Corin’s ATK% by around 35% for a few seconds when she’s on the field. This is a universal enhancement that works with DPS units thatscale with ATK% inZenless Zone Zero.
As for building Corin’s main and sub-stats, prioritize building Corin with as much Crit Rate and Crit DMG as possible since they are her best stats. Physical DMG Bonus and ATK% are also extremely important, so, try increasing them as much as you’re able to when building Corin inZZZ. Finally, Corin heavily relies on her EX Special Attack, so giving her Energy Regen is not a bad idea since it helps her use it more often. Although, of course, ATK is still the best option.
