Also, Dexter was younger, and there was more chance of rectifying the effects of what he saw. However, maybe this wasn’t the case at all, andDexter: Original Sincould reveal the real story behind it.
Laura Moser and Harry Morgan struck up a romantic relationship as a result of working to bring down Estrada’s drug operation, andit’s quite feasible to suggest Harry had already struck up a bond with Dexter,especially as his biological father, Joe Driscoll, wasn’t around. This could explain why Harry was so willing to take him on, after Laura’s brutal murder.
Plot details forDexter: Original Sinare currently under wraps, but there is a chance that it could link to the events that took place after Laura Moser’s murder,with two of her killers, Hector Estrada and Santos Jimenez still alive during the timeline of the upcoming prequel series. Estrada would later be tracked down by Dexter in the seventh season of the original series, and killed, after LaGuerta released him as part of a honey trap to capture Dexter. Jimenez was killed way back in season 2, for his direct role in Laura Moser’s murder. However, chances are, Harry Morgan didn’t stop his investigation into Dexter’s mother’s murder, and it could be a major driving force for the character inDexter: Original Sin.
