The trailer shows Croc fighting off various enemies, such as a giant worm and a huge ladybug in a boxing ring while exploring levels and gathering collectibleslike in the N64 classicBanjo-Kazooie.

Argonaut Gamesbegan as a small studio in 1982 that later went on to makethe originalStar Foxon the Super Nintendobefore moving on to the PlayStation and Sega Saturn with theCrocseries. The company later went out of business in 2007 after several years of liquidation, only to come back from dormancy in full force to announce the upcomingCrocremaster.

It is unclear what kinds of improvements may come with theCrocre-release, since the trailer doesn’t say much about potential visual upgrades or new features that may be on the way. In any case, though, it appears to be a more low-key remaster rather than a full-on remakein the vein of theCrash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy,which might make sense for a developer coming back from obscurity for the first time in 17 years.
