Summary

Thunderboltsstar David Harbour shared a massive update about the upcomingMCUmovie and noted how it’s gonna fit in the ongoing timeline, making fans excited about the changes it could bring in Phase 5 of the franchise.

It has already been revealed thatThunderboltswill be the last movie of the ongoing Phase 5 of theMCUand will bring the phase to an end in May 2025. In recent few months, fans have heard a lot of details about the project and were reassured that they are going to love the film. At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel came forward with impressive new details about the project. However, Harbour went one step ahead and came forward with some information that might turn out to be crucial.

Could The Thunderbolts Film Adapt the Captain America Cold War Storyline

Speaking withComicbook at the SDCC, Harbour opened up about the film and didn’t shy away from saying thatThunderboltswill change the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But he quickly understood that he might have spoken a little too much and stopped himself from saying anything else. Harbour said, “Our characters are going to interact with something that we don’t really understand, and it fundamentally changes the course of the way things expand. That’s all I’m saying. Oh my God, I’m getting calls tomorrow.” Of course, he didn’t answer how it is going to achieve that feat, but this little tease might have made Marvel fans excited.

Harbour’s comments are nothing new. Most of the Marvel actors or makers say that this project would change the course of the MCU. However, only some of them really do. Themost recent example is Shawn Levy’sDeadpool & Wolverine. The stars, makers, and even Kevin Feige said that this could be a game-changer for the MCU and could open the door for many more stories. Although it did include some really massive cameos, the movie had very little to offer when it came to the storyline and how it would affect the upcoming set of titles. So, there can be a lot of meanings to what Harbour said, but in the end, fans would have to wait and see if Thunderbolts really changes the course of MCU or not.
