Alongside the release of new story missions, Bungie continues to update the game with limited-time events and other activities. Reddit user Astraliguss shared new datamined images intheDestiny 2Leaks subreddit, revealing several details about the upcoming 10th anniversary event. According to the leak, Bungie will host activities in the Pale Heart fromDestiny 2’sThe Final Shapeexpansion. In the Pale Heart,Destiny 2players will hunt for hidden treasure chests and armor pieces to complete an all-new armor set for Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks, respectively. New limited-time Triumphs will be available to complete during the 10th anniversary event. Completing all the 10th anniversary Triumphs will unlock the Legend title, which pays tribute to the originalDestinygame’s “Beyond Light” slogan.

The leak also shows that a new Nerf replica ofDestiny’siconic Ace of Spades Exotic hand cannonwill be sold. The Nerf hand cannon features a slightly altered design to incorporate the brand’s signature orange hues, and a logo for the originalDestinygame is featured along the gun’s barrel. Specifications for the new Nerf gun and its retail price were not revealed in the leak, however.
Despite some uncertainty involving Bungie andDestiny 2’sfuture, the 10th anniversary event should be a great opportunity forDestinyfans to team up and celebrate the franchise.
