Xur has returned again toDestiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time.Act 3 of Episode Echoes has finally arrived, continuing the Nessus storyline and adding new content for players to dive into. In fact, this week’s reset also brought with it a new exotic quest, one of the more ambitious and lengthiest that Bungie has put out so far.
However, one element that was not made clear was that the exotic mission Encore: Overture has an odd restriction. SomeDestiny 2players were not getting rewards for completing the mission, expecting the Chorus of One Auto Rifle, to which Bungie’s support team tweets that Act 1 and 2 quests should be completed before. It’s unknown if this is a bug or simply a rule, but it left many feeling frustrated, especially those who had dived into the mission early only to end up with nothing for thier time spent.
In the meantime, the weekend merchant Xur has brought a brand-new inventory of exotics and legendary gear forDestiny 2players. Where is Xur?
Xur has now taken up permanent residence in the Bazaar of The Tower, so there’s no more hunting when the weekend comes around.
Since the Bazaar area is between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are and look for the little Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley is to the right, where Xur is standing.
Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.

Exotic Perk:
For Stormtrance users, this is a solid and very helpful exotic to have on hand. Better yet, the roll is the highest of the three this week at Xur, even with the higher than necessary mobility, so it may be a good opportunity to upgrade a collection roll version. Either way, pick it up.
Celestial Nighthawk - Hunter helmet
While the roll could be a bit better, the Celestial Nighthawk is a must-have Hunter exotic, working well in many high-damage Solar builds. For those that don’t have it yet, this is absolutely a must-buy.
Severance Enclosure - Titan chest armor
As has been a common issue lately with Titan exotics, the Mobility stat is higher than most would probably want. It can be a fun exotic to mess around with, but ultimately, isn’t one that is a must-have.
