A new Twitter post revealed the studio is making plans to let fans know about the future ofDestinyand the next “multi-year journey” in the near future.
One thing that is still up in the air is how Bungie plans to celebrate the upcoming10-year anniversary of theDestinyfranchise. Recent rumors and leaks seem to indicate that something is coming, with new armor sets, triumphs, and a Pale Heart event being discovered in the game’s files. With the anniversary date coming up on September 9, fans may not have to wait too much longer to learn more.
In the meantime, the weekend merchant Xur has brought a brand-new inventory of exotics and legendary gear forDestiny 2players. Where is Xur?
Xur has now taken up permanent residence in the Bazaar of The Tower, so there’s no more hunting when the weekend comes around.
Since the Bazaar area is between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are and look for the little Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley is to the right, where Xur is standing.
Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Getaway Artist - Warlock gauntlets
Exotic Perks:
It’s a very odd roll this week for Warlocks, with everything outside of Intellect being pretty much the same. Unfortunately, the total is a disappointingly low 61 overall, so these are hard to recommend this week.
Raiju’s Harness - Hunter chest armor
Exotic Perk:
Not a great roll this week for Raiju’s Harness, though for Mobility Hunters, this one has a solid stat line.
Mk. 44 Stand Asides - Titan leg armor
While technically the highest roll this week, it isn’t favorable to Titans as the mobility is again much higher than needed. Like the other exotic armor selections this week, these are a tough item to recommend.
