Harry’s ghost was always a supportive force in Dexter’s subconscious, but Debra was the complete opposite. She was combative and forced Dexter to face up to who he really was. Debra did do this in the original series when she found out Dexter was a serial killer, but Ghost Debra was even more forceful.
