It has now been confirmed that at least two fan-requested features will be coming toDiablo 4.Wowheadrecently reported thatDiablo 4will soon feature customizable waypoints for Town Portals. This update allows players to designate any waypoint in the game as a favorite, enabling direct teleportation to that location instead of the default regional town. Only one waypoint can be marked as a favorite at a time, and it will be indicated with a banner icon on the world map. The standard Town Portal function to regional towns will remain active unless a waypoint is chosen as a favorite. Diablo 4’s General Manager, Rod Fergusson, confirmed that this feature will be available starting October 8, which is also therelease date for theVessel of Hatredexpansion.

Diablo 4 Confirms Fan-Requested Loadout Changes

Additionally, in response to fan requests,Diablo 4’s General Manager Rod Fergusson confirmed that the team is working on an armory feature. This new addition will allow players to easily swap between builds, similar to the loadout system inDiablo 3, addressing long-standing calls from the community for more convenient build management. Rod further clarified that, although this feature won’t be available at the launch of theVessel of Hatredexpansion, it is expected to be introduced shortly thereafter.

While this update is welcoming and highlights the developers' commitment to listening to player feedback, it’s worth noting that Blizzard has also been addressing other concerns. Recently, the studio rolled outhotfix 1.5.1 forDiablo 4to correct unintended damageinflicted by certain enemies, including the Desecrator. Players had reported that Desecrator’s damage output was disproportionately high compared to other bosses, leading to this adjustment.
