How to Complete The Palace of Time in Dreamlight Valley
Players can follow these steps to complete the Palace of Time quest inDDV:
Find a Way to Get Across the Chasm
Your quest starts outside a mysterious trap door leading to Jafar’s Palace. Here, you will see a broken bridge that you can’t cross. To get past, interact with a massive hourglass nearby to shift into a new time zone where the bridge is fixed. Cross the bridge, then interact with the hourglass on the other side to return to real time.
Next, you’ll see some magical obstacles and a door in your way. Use your Royal Hourglass to clear the path and interact with the big hourglass again to open the door. Get inside and climb up the stairs.
Deactivate the Door
Now you will find yourself in a mysterious place blocked by many objects and treasures, souse yourDDVRoyal Hourglass toolto clear them. Next, you’ll need to solve a puzzle to deactivate the second door located in the room. To do this, interact with the giant hourglass in that room to shift time. Stand on the white plate and turn it twice to activate it, then move the mirror to face the magical door.
Now the protagonist will need to interact with the same big hourglass again. This will open the door, so go inside, remove objects from the path, and then interact with another hourglass on the way to finally enter the palace gate.
Confront Jafar in the Throne Room
You will see many obstacles in Jafar’s grand palace, and while clearing them, the players will trigger another quest called Jafar’s Laboratory. Dreamers will need to complete this side quest as well to confront Jafar and officially end The Place of Time quest.
During this second quest, you’ll be doing many fun tasks like feeding Jafar’s Raven andsolving more puzzlesin order to get your hands on Jafar’s key.
