Disney Dreamlight Valleycreator Gameloft has recently revealed the game’s roadmap for the rest of 2024.Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers can expect to see the addition of new characters such as Tiana, Timon, and Pumbaa soon, as well as the next chapter of the game’s paid expansion, a new Star Path, and more.
In June’s “The Lucky Dragon” update,Disney Dreamlight Valleyintroduced the new Mulan Realm. This update brought new characters such as Mulan and Mushu, and the “Majesty and Magnolias” Star Path. Last month, the game also received a hotfix that fixed small bugs, but fans were eager to know more about the next major additions to the game, and Gameloft finally decided to reveal more about the future.
In a recentblog post onDisney Dreamlight Valley’s official website, Gameloft revealed the roadmap for the rest of 2024. In August, Gameloft will release the next major update, which will bring the character Tiana fromThe Princess and the Frog, as well as more outdoor decor, and a new Star Path that “will bring a touch of 1920’s class” to the player’s village. During the same month, players will finally gain access to the last part of the “A Rift in Time” paid DLC, which will see gamers venturing into Jafar’s palace to stop his evil plans.
New Content Coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley Later in 2024
October will bring another update, which promises more fixes and quality-of-life improvements, as well as the introduction of Timon and Pumbaa fromThe Lion King, and the addition of The Lion King Realm, where players will help the two new characters against an invasion of Night Mites. This update, however, will be “smaller in scope.” Then, by the end of the year, fans of Disney’sexcellent cozy gamewill gain access to yet another update, which hints that Sally fromThe Nightmare Before Christmaswill be coming toDisney Dreamlight Valley. While the character was not officially announced, an image featuring a dress similar to hers appears on the road map.
The road map also promises a showcase stream, which will happen “later this year,” and will reveal more surprises for 2024 and beyond.Gameloft recently published aDisney Dreamlight Valleysurvey, so some characters featured in it may be officially announced during the showcase.
