The main actor cast forDragon Age: The Veilguardhas been announced. The newly shared list includes 14 actors who will portray 11 characters inDragon Age: The Veilguard.

Three of them might already be familiar to some of the series fans, as they will be reprising their roles from the past entries in theDragon Agefranchise. That group includes Gareth David-Lloyd and Brian Bloom, who are once again set to portray Solas and Varric, respectively. Ditto for Ali Hillis, who is now confirmed to be reprising her role of Harding fromDragon Age: Inquisition.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s Protagonist Will Have 4 Voice Actors

As forDragon Age: The Veilguard’s Rook, BioWare has revealed that the game’s protagonist will have four voice actors in total. Bryony Corrigan (Baldur’s Gate 3,The Goes Wrong Show) and Erika Ishii (Destiny 2,Apex Legends) will be the options for Rook’s female voices, whereas Alex Jordan (Cyberpunk 2077,Dragon’s Dogma 3) and Jeff Berg (Persona 3 Reload,Battlefield 1,NCIS) will provide the character’s male voices. BioWare said that Rook’s actors were selected with the goal of offering players a choice between two North American and two European accents.

The studio also revealed the actors set to portrayDragon Age: The Veilguard’s seven companions. Aside from the aforementioned return of Ali Hillis ofMass Effect 3andNarutofame, the game’s cast also includes Ike Amadi (Halo 5: Guardians,Mass Effect 3), who will play a monster-hunting Grey Warden called Davrin. Veil Jumper Bellara will be portrayed by Jee Young Han (Perry Mason,Anthem,Unprisoned), whereas Jessica Clark (True Blood,The Doll Maker) will lend her voice to Shadow Dragons member Neve.

Jin Maley (Silicon Valley,Star Trek: Picard) and Nick Boraine (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare,Black Ops 4) have been cast as dragon hunter Taash and necromancer Emmrich, respectively. Finally, Zach Mendez (Horizon Forbidden West,Elvis Lives) will portray Lucanis, a House of Crows assassin who was introduced as part of arecentDragon Age: The Veilguardtrailerin early June 2024.

Emmrich, Neve, Lucanis, and Harding’s actors will be attending the 2024 edition of San Diego Comic-Con, where BioWare will hold avoice-over panelon July 26, from 3:15pm to 4:15pm local time. Fans will also get a chance to grab their autographs on the 25th. As for the game itself,Dragon Age: The Veilguardis expected to receive a firm release date in the near future, not least because EA has just recently reiterated its commitment to launching it in late 2024.
