BioWare has found itself in a serious slump. After 2014’sDragon Age: Inquisition, which was released to critical acclaim and even managed to win that year’s Game of the Year award, BioWare released the divisiveMass Effect: Andromedaand thefailed live-service gameAnthem. Many fans are hoping thatDragon Age: The Veilguardwill be a return to form for BioWare, and while there’s been some controversy over its art style, what’s been shown so far has looked impressive from a gameplay standpoint.
The next stop forDragon Age: The Veilguardis San Diego Comic Con. On July 25, there will be a voice over talent signing featuring the voices behindDragon Age: The VeilguardcompanionsNeve, Harding, Lucanis, and Emmerich, along with a Fandom Party at the Hard Rock Hotel. Then on July 26, there will be a voice over panel forDragon Age: The Veilguard. And finally, July 28 will see a dev team signing. Lace Harding is being voiced by Ali Hillis, but the voice actors for the rest ofDragon Age: The Veilguard’s companions have yet to be revealed.

What this means is that thanks toDragon Age: The Veilguard’s appearance at San Diego Comic Con, fans of the franchise will finally learn more about the game’s voice cast. There is also a chance that even moreDragon Agenews will come out of the event, but that remains to be seen. While more information on the game is certainly a possibility, fans shouldn’t hold their breath forDragon Age: The Veilguard’s release dateto be announced. It’s possible, but highly unlikely.
As far as release plans go, all fans know for sure is that BioWare and EA are hoping toreleaseDragon Age: The Veilguardin fall 2024. A specificDragon Age: The Veilguardrelease date has yet to be announced, which is odd considering fall is only a couple of months away. Considering how long fans have had to wait forDragon Age: The Veilguard, hopefully the game doesn’t suffer from any delays and meets its fall 2024 release window.
