Summary
AFallout 4player online has built a cozy donut shop in Sanctuary using the game’s settlement-building mechanics. The amazingFallout 4settlements from the community just keep coming, with this cool donut shop serving as the latest example.
Before launch, Bethesda hyped upFallout 4’s settlement building as a huge part of the game. With players becoming more familiar with the mechanics, these builds have gotten more complex over the years. They’re easy enough for players of any skill level to use, but especially talented gamers can use them to create things truly special. There was even oneFallout 4player who builtFortnite’s Battle Busin the game as a settlement, showing how things from other titles are recreated by the community. WhileFallout 4is almost a decade old, there seems to be no end to the awesome creations from fans.
Redditor Frojdis shared theircoolFallout 4settlement, which they have titled “Slocum’s Joe.” There’s an awesome neon sign, with booths both inside and outside the establishment. There’s a real cozy vibe here, with a strong pink aesthetic that really resembles a vintage donut shop. According to the user, much of Slocum’s Joe’s decor was found on the Creation Club, while a building mod titled Thematic and Practical was also used. One user pointed out how cool it is that the store wraps around the tree in the middle of Sanctuary, calling it “Quite possibly my favorite use of the middle of the cul de sac I have seen yet.”
Donut Shop “Slocum’s Joe” Opened in Fallout 4
For many players, Sanctuary is the first location they will encounter throughoutFallout 4. As a result, this is where many of the most extensive settlement builds in the game take place. This is helped by the fact that it is also arguably the biggest settlement in the game, meaning there is plenty of room for players to bring their wildest ideas to life. A short while ago, there was aFallout 4player who turned Sanctuary into a trailer park, showing the kind of potential the area has in-game.
Considering the popularity of the feature, it remains likely that settlements will return inFallout 5. However, given Bethesda’s busy schedule over the next few years, it will likely be a few years yet before this is a realistic concern for fans of the franchise. This is despiteBethesda confirming it wants to release games at a quicker rate. Hopefully, whenever the sequel does arrive, it will be able to innovate on settlement building to ensure more creations like this are possible.
