A creativeMarvel Rivalsplayer has made a skill kit for Nightcrawler. Earlier in August,Marvel Rivalsheld a closed beta in which players tested the game that will be released on December 6. The shooter made available a number of characters divided into three classes, pitting heroes and villains against each other in 6v6 matches.

Reddit user minddocdan created a kit for thefamous mutant Nightcrawler, showing what the character’s abilities would be like inMarvel Rivals. His passive would be called Shadowcore, and with it, he would accumulate up to five stacks when dealing slashing damage. Using the left click (Night Claws), Nightcrawler would be able to move forward and deal damage with his claws. The mutant’s right-click (Shadow Maul) would make him slash forward, cutting through the air and launching a shadow slash, consuming a Shadowcore.

Nightcrawler would advance quickly using the left shift (Shadowstep) and, with his Q (Slicing Terror), jump at the enemy and cause damage, while being able to change position when using a Shadowcore. His E (Nightcall) would summon one of his iconic Bamf for each Shadowcore. His Space tab (Night’s Crawler) would be his main tool for staying longer on the battlefield, allowing the character to recover health and crawl on a wall. Although they haven’t defined a class, it wouldn’t be hard for players to imagine Nightcrawler as a Duelist, theMarvel Rivalsclass to which Hela also belongs, due to his damage-focused abilities.
Other Redditors approved the idea shared by the OP, and several comments noted the absence of a skill in reference to the swords used by the character. But while Nightcrawler won’t become a playable character,Marvel Rivalshas confirmed Captain America and Winter Soldieras part of the cast. As a result, the game has almost 30 heroes confirmed for release, including powerful names in the Marvel universe, such as Adam Warlock, Doctor Strange, and Thor.
