Your first week inFields of Mistriacan be overwhelming, but as you go through the days, you’ll unlock new gameplay features and quests to obtain new tools, crafting items, and Tesserae (money). New quests can be obtained from the bulletin board next to the general store in Mistria, but you’ll want to make a habit of checking your mailbox, too. Three-four days into your first week of spring, you’ll receive your firstFields of MistriaStory Quest. “Repair the Bridge” is a simple task for new players and one that you can complete relatively quickly.

How to Complete “Repair the Bridge”
You’ll receive a letter in the mail on Spring 3 from Adeline asking you for help with repairing the bridge. Go to theEastern Roadto trigger a cutscene. To get to the Eastern Road, just take the right path in front of the Bathhouse.
The bridge needs60 Woodand60 Stone, which you can place in the nearby donation box. After you’ve deposited all materials in the donation box, you will need tospeak with Adeline to complete the quest.
Balor suggestsgathering the materials from your farmland. If youchop down trees and clear away rocks, you’ll have 60 of each in no time. However, the location where you get the materials doesn’t matter. you’re able to clear away trees on the Eastern Road, Sweetwater Farm, and The Narrows if you’d prefer.
It’s recommended you clear some of the debris off your property. Plus, if you farm the materials on your land, then you can return to the cabin to empty your inventory when it gets full.
At this point, you’ll already have the axe to chop wood, but you’ll need the pickaxe for stone. You can get one by accepting the request “Do a Bro a Favor” from the bulletin board on Spring 2. All you need to do isfindOlricand speak to him. If you’re not sure where to find him, you can check his location by viewing the Map (M key).
With a full bar of stamina/energy, you’ll be able to get half the materials in one day. Find yourself low on stamina? you’re able to replenish it by doing any of the following:
verify to get to bedbefore 2am. Going to bed late means your character oversleeps. This results in low stamina the following day.

Since “Repair the Bridge” is a story quest, you’ll need to complete it to progress the “story”. Once the bridge is repaired, it will unlock the Saturday Market. During the Saturday Market, four vendors will set up stalls in Mistria to sell various items. Most are food/drinks, but you’re able to get accessories, recipes, and furniture, too. The prices may be a bit high for a new player, but you should have enough Tesseraeby your second week of spring.
If you want to unlock the Saturday Market as soon as possible, you should have it repaired before Spring 6/Saturday. You get “Repair the Bridge” on Spring 3, so this gives you 3 days to gather your materials and turn in the quest.
