That’s where you step in as an adventurer helping to restore the town, which also involves restoring the mill to its former glory in a story quest calledThe Mill Restoration Project. During the first year of Spring, you’ve probably run past the mill several times without realizing it. To get right to it, you can find the mill locatednext to the town request boardinFields of Mistria, towards the middle of the Mistria map, as pictured above. However, you won’t be able to enter the mill or do anything to help repair it until you’ve completed some earlier story quests, including repairing the town bridge andunlocking the mines inFields of Mistria.
You’ll also have to wait until Adeline sends you a letter inviting you to meet her in her office, unlockingThe Mill Restoration Project quest.This happens towards the end of Spring of your first year in the game, aroundday 24. After meeting Adeline in her office, it’s time to get to work.
How To Unlock The Mill In Fields Of Mistria
To unlock the mill inFields of Mistriaafter starting The Mill Restoration Project quest, you need the following materials:
It’s quite a long list. However, there are a few ways you canmake money fast inFields of Mistria, including ensuring you put plenty of items to sell in your shipping bin at the end of each day. There is also plenty of stone near your farm, or you could take the opportunity to explore the mines to break up rocks there. While you can buy ingots from the Blacksmith shop for 50 Tesserae each, it’s much more cost-effective to get it from mining copper ore rocks in the mines, as you need at least 10 copper ore to make one copper ingot, meaning you’ll need20 copper oreto get everything on the list.
One of the fastest ways to get wood inFields of Mistriais to focus on chopping down trees rather than individual sticks, as chopping down trees with your axe often drops small piles of wood.
Once you’ve got all the required ingredients,place the wood, stone, and copper ingot in the storage bin in front of the mill. The final step is togive Adeline the 1,000 Tesserae, triggering a cutscene of the townsfolk working together to restore the mill and make its blades turn again.

Repairing the mill inFields of Mistriaalso opens up the opportunity to get animals for your farm, as now the mill is working you’re able to buy things like chicken coops and barns from the carpenter’s shop.
