Special events are held year long inFields of Mistria. The first one you’ll have the option of partaking in is the Flower Festival. While you can show up to speak to everyone and purchase exclusive items from the stalls, it’s recommended that you try your best inMistria’s festival’s flower competition to win special prizes. The competition involves collecting a special type of flower called Breath of Spring. You’ll need at least 10 to make your mark in the contest, but you should attempt to shoot for first place.
Where to Find Breath of Spring
Best Locations to Farm Breath of Spring
On Spring 14,you’ll be visited by Celineas soon as you step outside your house. She’ll tell you about the Flower Festival on Spring 17 and how to partake in the flower-gathering competition. You will need to collect Breath of Spring, which is a bouquet of flowers that only spawn from Spring 14-17. On themorning of Spring 17, Celine will visit once again to collect any Breath of Spring flowers you gathered over the past three days.
As the game indicates, you can find Breath of Spring by doing normal farm chores (ie: watering, tilling, harvesting), fishing, or even mining. Basically, you can farm these exclusive flowers in any place where you can obtain essence. Since you’re on a 3-day deadline, you’ll want to know the best place to look for Breath of Spring. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do to increase the appearance rate, but there are some areas that are ideal for farming the flowers.
You should search for Breath of Springin the mines.To unlock the mines, Mistria’s rank needs to beStone. Since Breath of Spring can spawn from breaking rocks and ore, you’re able to put aside a day to explore the mines and potentially get 20 in one go. Be sure to bring HP/Stamina-recovering items in case your character starts getting tired.
Make sure that the flowers are in your bag and not your storage chest.

How Many Breath of Spring Should You Collect?
After Celine takes your Breath of Spring bundle, head towards Mistria to get the results of the competition. 10 is the minimum you need to rank in third place, but if you’re hoping for the crown, you’ll want to go higher. You need50+ Breath of Springto win first place.The more Breath of Spring you have, the better the rewards. Here are the prizes for the flower contest:
