Gamer Gets Xbox 360 With Blades Dashboard for Free
The fact that the Xbox 360 Blades dashboard is erased whenever a console with it is connected to the Internet coupled with the Red Ring of Death problem means thatthe UI may eventually become extinct. This makes it an exciting time whenever an Xbox 360 fan is able to find a console with the Blades dashboard intact. Oftentimes, gamers have to buy an Xbox 360 with the Blades, so getting one for free is incredible.
There seems to be a renewed interest in the Xbox 360 console as of late, likely driven by Microsoft’s decision toshut down the Xbox 360 marketplace. Microsoft recently made the controversial decision to pull the plug on the Xbox 360 digital storefront, making it impossible to purchase digital games on the console. This has had an impact on the secondhand games market, causing used 360 titles to go up in price as gamers no longer have the option to buy them digitally. This is disappointing for sure, but the good news is that there are many Xbox 360 games that are still available for digital purchase on newer Xbox consoles thanks to the backward compatibility program.
