Natlan will also add its own unique form of exploration to the game, with Saurians serving as a form of mount within the new region. However, Natlan’s volcanic locales have been among the most impressive teasers from the new region.
Genshin Impact Leak Shows Off New Volcano Area in Natlan
A leak shared by prominentGenshin Impactleaker Team Mew is showing offa new volcanic area in Natlan. The leaked video from the game’s beta servers shows a far-off volcano appearing to erupt, shooting magma and trails of light into the sky while the player looks on. The video does not make it clear whether players will be able totravel to the volcano during Version 5.0, though the detailed appearance of the volcano suggests it will be exploreable. The Natlan region will debut with Version 5.0, scheduled to launch on August 28.
Natlan’s plethora of new locales will come with plenty more for players to do in Natlan as they explore the game’s newest region. As with each past region, Natlan will feature its own collectibles in the form of Pyroculi and Pyro Sigils, granting rewards ranging from Primogems to EXP materials. Natlan will also introduce a new gameplay mechanic for its characters, withGenshin Impact’s “Nightsoul Burst” mechanicproviding unique effects like increased damage and mobility. Rumors have even suggestedGenshin Impactmay finally raise its level cap during the Natlan cycle.
With Natlan on the way soon, Version 4.8 is sending off the Fontaine cycle with a bang. The update introduces the Simulanka as the newest ofGenshin Impact’s limited-time summer areas, featuring a full-fledged story surrounding the mysterious locale.Emilie will also debut asGenshin Impact’s final characterfrom the Fontaine cycle, accompanied by a re-run for Yelan during Version 4.8’s second half.
