Emilie, the latest addition to theGenshin Impactroster in version 4.8, arriving as a versatile Dendro support character, perfectly timed with the conclusion of the Fontaine arc and the game’s transition to the Natlan region. Her primary role involves applying Dendro to enemies through her Elemental Skill, which has a long duration and decent intervals making her a strong off-field support option.

Unique to Emilie is her focus on the Burning reaction particularly with her passive abilities. This makes her an excellent choice for Burning-centric team compositions. To fully harness her potential, players should consider this select her weapons, as they play a crucial role inoptimizing her DPS output. Despite there aren’t any Burning specific option for her except for her signature, Emilie’s best weapon choices should still focus on increasing her desired stats, such as ATK or Crit Values, or elemental DMG. Despite being an off-field oriented character however, her best weapon options are unfortunately quite difficult to get with most being limited options, but here are the best polearm options inGenshin Impactthat suit Emilie the best.

7Favonius Lance

The Favonius Lance stands out as the best 4-star standard Gacha weapon for Emilie, making it the most accessible option for players if other weapons are unavailable. Although it performs worse than other weapons on the list, it is a practical choice due to its wide availability. Favonius Lance helps Emilie activate her Elemental Burst frequently, but it requires building a high Crit Rate, a stat she already benefits from. However, it doesn’t offer the same level of performance as weapons that provide ATK or Crit values, and can complicate her build due to its focus on Energy Recharge. For a 4-star weapon, atleast Favonius Lance has a good ATK Base stat.

Instead of relying solely on an Energy Recharge-oriented weapon like the Favonius Lance, players might find it more advantageous toinclude a battery characterin their team composition or prioritize Energy Recharge sub-stats on Emilie’s artifacts.

6Missive Windspear

The best entirely F2P weapon for Emilie is Missive Windspear, which offers a significant boost to her ATK. This event-limited weapon, for those who obtained it, can provide utility similar to the 5-star Calamity Queller, primarily focusing on enhancing ATK. With the Missive Windspear, players can prioritize Crit Values in Emilie’s artifact set, while also allowing room for other important stats like Energy Recharge to be featured in the main stats.

5Deathmatch

Deathmatch is the best overall 4-star weapon for Emilie, particularly if players have max refined it through the Battle Pass. Its high Crit Rate and ATK% buff make it versatile and effective across various content, regardless of whether there are more than two enemies present. The Crit Rate it provides simplifies Emilie’s build, allowing players to focus more on optimizing other stats. However, for those with access to 5-star weapons that offer Crit Value stats or effects, these options generally provide greater benefits, functioning as superior stat sticks and enhancing Emilie’s overall damage potential.

4Staff of Homa

Staff of Homa is one of the top DPS-oriented polearmsinGenshin Impact, making it a highly effective choice for Emilie among the 5-star options. This is largely due to its significant Crit DMG bonus, which boosts Emilie’s damage output considerably. Although Emilie doesn’t directly benefit from the HP increase provided by Staff of Homa, the weapon’s ability to convert HP into ATK still offers a valuable ATK buff, enhancing her overall performance.

It’s important to note that while this list highlights Staff of Homa and Staff of the Scarlet Sands as the best 5-star options for Emilie, alongside her signature weapon and Calamity Queller, other polearms with Crit Value stats can also be excellent choices. These particular weapons are considered the best fits due to their effects and synergy with Emilie’s kit, offering the most optimal benefits forher role as a sub-DPS character.

3Staff of the Scarlet Sands

While Elemental Mastery isn’t typically a primary stat for Emilie, it can still be valuable if players plan to use her in teams outside of the Burning Elemental Reaction. Building some Elemental Mastery on Emilie canenhance other Dendro reactionsand convert a portion of it into ATK, which can be quite beneficial. This is particularly effective given that Emilie’s kit activates upon hitting with her Elemental Skill, allowing her to maintain high stats almost continuously. Additionally, the Staff of the Scarlet Sands offers a significant Crit Rate boost, which lets players prioritize Crit DMG in their build. This focus on Crit DMG, combined with the weapon’s Elemental Mastery conversion, allows Emilie to have a more unique build.

2Calamity Queller

Calamity Queller is a relativelyniche weapon, primarily used on Shenhe, but it also stands out as an excellent option for Emilie. Despite lacking any Crit Value, it remains one of Emilie’s top choices due to its substantial ATK boost and high base ATK stat, along with an Elemental DMG Bonus. This weapon helps Emilie easily reach her ATK requirements, allowing her to fully benefit from her passives and optimize her performance in Burning-oriented teams. Its ability to enhance Emilie’s overall damage output makes it a valuable alternative, particularly if players have gained desired crit values while building her.

1Lumidouce Elegy

Lumidouce Elegy is unsurprisingly the best weapon option for Emilie, given that it is her signature weapon. It offers nearly all the stats Emilie needs, excluding Crit DMG, while including a significant amount of Crit Rate through its secondary stat, as well as ATK, DMG, and Energy Recharge through its effects. These stat boosts make this weapon an excellent choice for Emilie, while allowing her to benefit from all aspects of her kit, including activating her Elemental Burst more often.

However, for players aiming to enhance Emilie’s utility and damage output even further, her first constellation provides more value compared to her signature weapon. Therefore, if players already have other strong weapon options from the list (especially 5-star limited weapons), it may be more useful to save Primogems and invest in her first constellation instead.
