Summary
A newGenshin Impactchart has revealed the sales difference between the two currently featured five-star characters, Navia and Nilou. Both of them arrived as part of the first banner phase of the ongoingGenshin Impactupdate 4.7, which launched on July 17.
The second banner phase will introduce a new character named Emilie, who has already been confirmed to be a Dendro polearm user and famous perfumer from Fontaine. Many Travelers were surprised to see Emilie featured in the second banner, considering that if an update has only one new five-star character, HoYoverse usually features them during the first banner phase.
As the pool of playable characters keeps expanding with each new version of the game, it’s become standard for each update to feature four limited characters, two for each banner phase. An interesting chart on the popularGenshin Impactstats sitePaimon.moehas revealed the revenue difference between Navia and Nilou. According to the data, Navia is responsible for slightly over 60% of the total sales, which does not come as a surprise considering that this is her firstre-run inGenshin Impact. Fontaine’s main storyline has revealed that Navia is the head of the Spina di Rosula, a special organization in Fontaine dedicated to helping the people of the Hydro nation by investigating many difficult cases.
Genshin Impact Navia and Nilou Unique Playstyles Explained
Navia is also widely considered to be one of the most fun characters on the game’s playable roster thanks to her unique kit. Unlike many otherGeo DPS units inGenshin Impact, Navia is a viable main damage dealer who can work with supports with different types of elemental damage, such as Bennett or Xiangling. As per usual, the go-to Geo support for Navia’s party is Liyue’s Archon Zhongli.
Navia’s banner colleague, Nilou, also has a very specific playstyle that relies on triggering the Bloom elemental reaction. This reaction can be caused by applying Dendro to an enemy affected by Hydro and vice versa. One of Nilou’s passive talents turns Bloom’s regular Dendro Cores into Bountiful Cores with a much higher explosion radius and damage. Nilou is usually thego-to support for mostGenshin Impactplayers whose team compositions rely on this specific elemental reaction.
Players who want to get either of these two five-star characters don’t have a lot of time to do so since their banner is scheduled to expire around August 6. Emilie won’t be the only five-star unit featured in the second banner phase as HoYoverse confirmed that she will be accompanied byGenshin Impact’s popular Hydro user Yelan.
