Summary
Genshin Impactplayers can finally take a first look at the idle and combat animations for Xilonen, who is expected to join the character roster in Version 5.1. While there is plenty to look forward to in Natlan,Genshin Impacthas always been about its characters, and how well they complement each other’s abilities. Though the Archon of a region always attracts a lot of attention, Xilonen’s popularity has steadily begun to rival that of Mavuika.
Xilonen was introduced during the Ignition teaser, but what really got players interested were rumors of her ability kit. As aGeo character inGenshin Impact, Xilonen is expected to not only elevate the famously inert element, but shake up the meta as a whole. She is touted as a universal support: capable of shredding elemental resistance, providing powerful buffs to teammates, and even fulfilling the role of a healer.
Whereas some leaks focus on Xilonen’s ability kit,Dimbreath has instead shared her animationswith theGenshin Impactcommunity. It should be noted thatsupport characters inGenshin Impacttend to be less flashy on average, so rather than comparing the quality of Xilonen’s animations to Arlecchino, a comparison with Baizhu is more apt.
Who is Xilonen in Genshin Impact?
Though she is a famous blacksmith from the Children of Echoes, Xilonen’s identity is also about music and rollerblades. Her sword attacks are graceful and acrobatic, while her Elemental Skill summons a pair of rollerblades. Using her Elemental Skill, players will be able to traverse the sharp cliffsides of Natlan, but also strike enemies with her rollerblades in combat. The Elemental Burst shows Xilonen using her stereo mixer to heal nearby active teammates, as well as deal Geo damage to nearby enemies.Xilonen’s ability kit inGenshin Impactshould make her a mainstay in many Spiral Abyss teams, but characters such as Navia will especially want her in their party.
While it remains to be seen whichGenshin Impactcharactersshe will be paired up with on the Event Banners for Version 5.1, Xilonen will most likely have a rerun before the end of the Natlan era.Genshin Impactplayers should be prudent with their Primogem spending, especially if they want to obtain Mavuika in Version 5.3. That being said, Xilonen’s second Constellation provides an extremely powerful bonus to other characters, and as such, vertically investing in Xilonen is something to consider.Genshin Impactplayers can expect Version 5.1 to launch on October 9.
