Now, a particularly notable new location in Natlan is being teased.
While not much is yet known about how Natlan’s story will play out, leaks from Version 5.0 have already begun to give players a closer look at theGenshin Impactregion. Early leaks have shown off the sizable layout of the Pyro region, with some even suggesting thatGenshin Impact’s map may gain a new layer with “sky islands” floating above Natlan. The map is also expected to grow further throughout the following updates, following in the trend of the HoYoverse RPG’s past regions. One important location in Natlan is now being shown ahead of the region’s launch.
Genshin Impact Leak Teases New Natlan Location
A recent post shared to theGenshin Impactleaks subreddit is giving players their first look atNatlan’s “Temple of Pax” location. According to the leak, the Temple of Pax houses the location where players can turn in their Pyro Sigils for a variety of rewards, much likeFontaine’s “Fountain of Lucine"and Inazuma’s “Sacred Sakura.” The leak refers to the Pyro Sigil mechanism as the “Forgestone Ring,” with players expected to be able to earn Acquaint Fates, Primogems, and Crowns of Insight among other resources.
Natlan’s newest teased area comes as fans have already gotten their first official look at the characters set to be available during Version 5.0.HoYoverse revealed three new Natlan charactersin one of the region’s first teasers, later revealing their names as Mualani, Kachina, and Kinich. Mualani and Kinich are expected to debut as new five-star additions toGenshin Impact’s roster, while Kachina will be added as a four-star character. Version 5.0 andGenshin Impact’s Natlan update are currently believed to be releasing on August 28.
The impending launch of Natlan will follow a jam-packed Version 4.8 update, debuting earlier this week with plenty of new content. Version 4.8 saw the addition ofGenshin Impact’s newest limited-time area with the Simulanka, featuring a main event starring Nilou, Navia, and Kirara among others. The update also addsGenshin Impact’s newest Dendro character in Emilie, alongside new skins for both Nilou and Kirara. With a whole new region on the way soon,Genshin Impactfans should have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks.
