Genshin Impact Leak Hints at New Archon Quest
A new leak shared by prominentGenshin Impactleaker Mero is hinting at a specialplayable character planned for Version 5.1’s Archon Quest. According to the post, players will briefly be able to take control of Mavuika, allowing fans to experience some of the game’s story through the Pyro Archon’s eyes. The leak could not confirm whether players will be able touse Mavuika’s skills in a combat settingor just move around using the Pyro Archon. Version 5.1 ofGenshin Impactis currently expected to launch on October 9.
While the leak did not state the capacity in which players will control Mavuika, leaks have already begun to hint at her impending playability. Past leaks havehinted at Mavuika’s kitfollowing her speculated Version 5.3 release, suggesting she will debut as a sub-DPS character inGenshin Impact. Leaks about her gameplay have also referred to Mavuika as an upgraded version of popular four-star character Xiangling, one ofGenshin Impact’s most beloved Pyro units.
The impending playability of Mavuika comes as leaks have already given players a taste of what to expect from Version 5.1. Version 5.1’s Archon Quest is rumored toheavily feature Citlali and Ororonalongside Mavuika, with each leaked to have a considerable number of voice lines during the update. The patch is also expected to bring a new main event set in Sumeru, with rumors that players will return for the Sabzeruz Festival previously featured in Sumeru’s Archon Quest.
